It scans and finds a suitable station quickly. It sounds great as long as the station does not come in well. As soon as you get near a location that the chosen station starts to come in, you just scan for a new station. Easy.

Purchased to use with an old CD player for a car that we recently bought. It did not have a CD player in it. Was informed by sales person that we could make it work by buying the FM transmitter. Worked like a charm.

Having an older vehicle (2004) makes listening to my audiobooks on the road difficult. This FM transmitter works to solve that problem. My only problem is that I live in a densely populated radio frequency area, so finding the "static" channels without interference can be difficult.

It was necessary to continually find new available stations as this did not seem to find the strongest signal, usually had a lot of static. My previous adapter worked much better, unfortunately it is no longer made.

Really disappointed with the quality. The small transmitter will cut in and out or get static noise if not in just the right placement. I purchased a much cheaper Bluetooth FM transmitter for my husband and it works better than the wired one I purchased.

Works good in most locations.
Areas around city's that have an abundance of fm radio stations it's difficult to get static free audio out of it.
But if no other option available other than replacing your stock audio system then it's worth it .

Bought one for my daughter a couple of years ago. Her boyfriend always borrowed it so he could enjoy music in his older model car, so I bought one for him for Christmas so he could have his own!

This transmitter gets major interference from cellphone boosters and police/ fire stations. Sometimes it will cut out randomly on backroads in the mountains. It doesn’t put out enough power to reach the rear antenna in our car.

Even on stations with no nearby stations, the radio strength is very weak. Sound quality is not very good. It served it's basic purpose, but is also overly complicated to program in addition to weak strength leading to poor quality sound.

I wanted to love this transmitter but I have found that it only really works....sometimes. I am not sure why, but there are days when it just seems defective and days where it works like a charm. When it works it's great and my calls are clear, music plays nice..

Works well at providing audio thru car's FM. Does not charge so a separate charging connection is needed. The charging cable can interfere with the audio. This transaction was an exchange of the same product which had failed after less than two months of use.

This is by no means a perfect device, but for the price you will get pretty good consistent usage. The closer I get to a major city, in my case Chicago, the fewer available stations to tune into, but overall I am very pleased.

Easy to find a station where ever I go. A bit too expensive for how simple the adapter is. Love that the cored is long enough for the people in the back seat to connect their phones.

If you are considering this product, its probably because your radio doesn't have an aux outlet. It work as good as you would expect it to over the radio.

I've had the IQ Sound wireless transmitter for years and the plug finally went out so I bought the wired version. Expecting it to be clear and less problems I experienced just the opposite. There has to be a better version of this type of device.

I owned one of these before and I broke the tip; major bummer. This one was a lot cheaper and now I'm able to enjoy all of my downloaded music. Thank you very much.
