Customers frequently mention the 200-Device Universal Remote's compatibility with a wide range of home entertainment devices as a significant advantage. However, they also cite challenges with the remote's ease of use and setup process, finding it difficult to operate and requiring technical expertise for proper configuration. Some users reported needing professional assistance to program the device. Overall, the product's broad compatibility is praised, but its usability is a major point of concern.

Really good remote, but set up needs to be done by a tech. No software included to do it yourself. Anytime you change components a tech needs to come out and reprogram the remote which can get expensive. Otherwise , I'm happy with this purchase and the remote's performance.

After three visits by the BestBuy Geek Squad, they still could not get it programmed. In addition, after paying almost $500.00 fir this remote, the manufacturer wanted another $200.00 to program it. And it is not as if we were trying to program all 200 devices it allegedly is capable of controlling. It was going to be used on three items: TV, receiver, and blu-ray player. Then, to add insult to injury, I had to but a $400.00 IR device sonI would not have to point it directly at the receiver to make it work.
After the third Geek Squad visit, I returned it to the store, along with the IR device. I guess don’t mind having to turn around and point my three remotes to their devices, if it will save me $1,100.00.
Terrible experience and the Geek Squad never got it to work.

We are a few weeks into the purchase and the remote works pretty well so far. The geek squad programmed it and only occasionally does it behave unexpectedly. Turning it on and off fixes the issue. A good product that allows you to keep all components in a separate room so there are no set top boxes in sight. Very nice!

This remote does it all for my home entertainment system. The device is used to control my TV, AM/FM radio, Apple TV, DVD player, CD player, and phonograph, speaker system for theater and speaker system throughout house. Required Geek Squad to program. Corey is the best. Easily rechages in its own rechaging cradle. Highly recommend this unit.

This is the 3rd and last remote for this brand. I have gone through 3 of these within 1 year. The Geek Squad guys are great, but this remote is awful. I even got the remote RF Reader that they recommended. The remote just stops working.

This unit controls my TV, Cable Box, Apple TV, and DVD player. And the best part is all of the equipment is out of site in the basement. Works perfectly, just let the Geek Squad come to your house to set it all up as it requires considerable knowledge and thought. Highly Recommend!

Too much of a lag time when you’re trying to use this with an Apple TV
The LCD screen is only for viewable icons and not touched base like a Logitech
Difficult set up that I believe only Geeksquad can do as I don’t have any knowledge on how to add devices
.Once my system is on I control everything with my Apple TV remote as it responsive through icons with a swipe of your thumb. Only purchased because of my surround sound, I would’ve bought Logitech for cheaper and Likely worked just as well

Pricey but the only way to connect several items!
Worth the money - however; it has to be programed by a professional - which Best Buy did and outstanding job!!!!!

It takes some time to get familiar with using it to reach all the options. It does allow for only one remote for all your needs.

I was told when I purchased numerous items that there was a $400.00 charge for installation and programming. Like any reasonable person I thought that meant for the install of the TV and projector I purchased but found out later that it was to program the remote and they were not installing the TV or projector but just dropping them off. Also I told the installer I was using component cable now but was getting HDMI the next day. he said he would have to come back to program the remote for HDMI, have called over 10 times with no response to come back so the $400.00 programming cost was for nothing because I can not use the remote after I had HDMI cables installed. I will never use Best Buy again. Spent over 12k and got mislead and overcharged.

I believe this item was very poorly installed by the Geek Squad. I have an Apple TV with a RF remote that works fine from the same location. The Apple TV was 1/3 the price. So this device is either a huge waste of money, or the Geek Squad team you sent out was totally incompetent.

I have had this piece of junk since September. Not a day goes by it causes nothing but regret. Best Buy came to teach us how to use this, after the instillation in addition to the lesson when they installed.
It takes several attempts to turn the TV on. Sometimes nothing happens, or no sound, picture and no sound, It normally takes And turning it off can take many attempts before it will go off. Last night it wouldn't turn off. It went out over night. BUT now it won't turn on NOTHING, Been trying all day to turn the TV on. It is a piece of junk.

Great handy remote for multi-devices and different rooms. This is my second one. I have enjoyed it and it is quite sturdy then other remotes I have had in the past. The one thing I do not like so much are small delays in turning on my devices.

The screen fades to nothing after about two years. If you have multiple TVs and a control center, managing it is very difficult and expensive.
Don’t buy it!!
