We were reluctant to try this remote because of the price & the difficult sometimes using these remotes. This remote is easy to use with little instruction. Be aware that it does require charging every 3 days but can be used while sitting on the charger.

Since we have our components in a cabinet under the TV, this piece of equipment is necessary so we don't have to continually open and close the cabinet doors in order to use the remote. We can just sit back on the couch and use the remote without having to open and close those doors. It is responsive and effective.

I have this RF unit paired with a Universal brand universal remote control. It works very well tucked out of sight in the back of a wall-to-wall entertainment center. The range seems to be shorter than I expected for reliable consistent operation - perhaps about 10'. I found I could increase the range substantially by raising the unit up and moving it a little forward in the cabinet so it wasn't quite as far in the back.

I’ve tried several universal remotes to be used in my motor home and none worked very well if at all. Since this one isn’t dependent on an internet connection, it works great. A little disappointed I can’t program it myself but Heek Squad did a great job.

This did boost the connection results though not quite to the same result I was told it would.

The IR base station works great! I can use my remote without having to twist my body around the coffee table. Amazing concept.

This was a must when setting up my all in one remote when all my components were hidden

Not sure what this is for but guess it makes the system work

easy set up other than locating the IR eye on components communicating with it.

If you can program this remote properly it will work well.

Works well. Use for my projector TV. Had Magnolia set-up. Several buttons on the controller that are not used.

It wasn't that easy to setup in the fact that the geek squad even had some difficulties. But now that I'm using it, I love it

Make sure you have the latest version of cable box. If not it may cycle off causing this product to reset daily. Geek Squad was helpful and hopefully it is resolved.

Works well from a distance. Specially when the receiver boxes are in a closet.
