This is without a doubt one of the best games in the PSVR catalog! Even if you don’t like shooters you will like this!!! Is definitely a go to game! Fantastic graphics, real scares and a original story! If you have never played this I would strongly suggest that you try this! This is what VR games are all about!’

This is the first VR game I purchased & played on my PS4 Pro & I love it!! If you like being scared from your seat this is a MUST HAVE game. Playing this game at night is the best, but be warned if you scare easy this might not be the game for you.

    Roller coaster of horrors!

You will need the Playstation VR unit to play this game. This game is a horror ride through various locations where the player will shoot ghosts, ghouls and all sorts of creepy crawlers. Using two Move controllers or a Dualshock 4 controller, the player will aim the in game guns at the monsters that attack you as you go through various areas trying to get a high score. You do not need to have played Until Dawn to enjoy this game as it does not tie into the story, but loosely bases some of its setting on the areas in the game, This game is scary but fun at the same time. You will scream then laugh as you blast your way through the levels. The VR adds a lot of depth and the feeling of dread of actually creeping through haunted hallways as ghosts jump out at you. Sometimes the tracking on your guns can get a little iffy, but just hold the start button to recenter the screen and you will be good to go. Pick this up for $20 and enjoy the ride...if you can survive. Recommended for people who enjoy a good scare and on rail shooter types.

I know a lot of people that played the first game this was sort of based on were disappointing that it wasn't story-driven like that one was but having never played that game, this game as a VR exclusive is awesome! With all the jump scares of a good horror b-movie along with what you would expect from a trip through a quality haunted house, this game delivers. It's amazing how on the level of horror, how immersive the experience can feel. Play it in the dark alone or a fully lit room with friends. Either way, you'll feel alone and even though you know it's a screen, you can't help but fall for some of the tricks they throw your way. My only complaint is that it's a bit short but that seems pretty common with VR games at this stage and is sort of to be expected. Worth it at the price point, especially.

    Very fun arcade shooter

This game is a lot of fun, so long as you don't associate it with the namesake game it is based off of. It is NOTHING like Until Dawn... but that said. If you like on rail shooters this game is AWESOME! VR takes on rail shooters to a whole new level now that you can actually look around while you're on a roller coaster of doom. The arcade-y goodness can be replayed over and over again cause that's just how arcade shooters are! The only thing I wish is that you could have a 2nd player join on your TV screen for some co-op fun when you've got a friend over. If it had that feature... or if they add it on in a DLC (hint hint) this game would be 5 stars in my opinion. The retail cost being only $20 makes this definitely a worthwhile purchase!

    Really Good!

For an early PSVR game, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood still holds up really well! Yes it’s technically an “on rails shooter” but they managed to pull it off in a way that works perfectly for VR. While being forced to sit on roller coaster and shoot things doesn’t sound very scary, being fully immersed in VR makes it scary. There are some moments that are absolutely terrifying! Everything feels good and it wasn’t more than a few times that I had to recalibrate my position. My biggest issue with the game is that the later levels get a little too gamey. They have you sitting there shooting at a boss for too long and it tends to get a little boring compared to the fast paced gameplay from previous levels. Overall I really enjoyed this game! It is a good first VR experience game because the gameplay is simple but really fun. I would recommend this even if you don’t enjoy horror games. I hope to see some sort of sequel in the future as it is one of my top PSVR games! 4 out of 5 stars

If you love horror games and want to experience them as they are meant to be, then look no further than playing one in VR. Until Dawn Rush of Blood is an awesome on rails experience that brings the roller coaster right into your headset with 7 different levels and plenty of scares. The game is best played with the ps move controllers which are fairly accurate when targeting enemies. There are several difficulty settings and leader boards which add tons of replay value. Sit back, enjoy the ride, and blast your way through an amusement park, hotel, caves, underground lava lake, and more! This is a must have game for PSVR!

First Person Shooter Horror Roller Coaster Game

I picked up this game after trying the demo that came with the PSVR. The game as a whole provides a classic carnival style shooting range with the twisted horror from the Until Dawn game. Though not needed to play the game, having played Until Dawn you will recognize certain locations and scenes are familiar. Since the game is literally on rails the whole time, the movement is not as disorienting as some other games, but if you get ill on roller coasters, some parts will get you there. Using the Move controllers makes this game feel even more immersive as you start unloading shotgun rounds in everything that jumps out at you, and there are plenty of jump scares. With collectible items, a secret item, some variations in path and setting high scores there is some replay value. However, the most fun is getting an unsuspecting friend to play for the first time. This is a first person shooter horror roller coaster game, FPSHRCG, can I make that an acronym? Well worth having for the PSVR.

A Motion Controller in Each Hand Shoot Out

Will you get chills? Yes, there will be moments as you battle through seven different segments of creatures, ghouls, spiders, zombies, while taking a roller coaster ride you won't forget in VR! And, you will be able to change the track routing as you go so that exploring can be different, too. Start with the Story, taking you through all the seven levels in order, selecting the difficulty you desire. You can also select a level from the menu. And the best part is that you can select the standard or motion controllers, and motion controllers allow independent aiming from each hand instead of independent standard control aiming via the joystick only. This makes accuracy better with less complication. Warning: this game can become addictive and will definitely scare you as you will feel like you are there and involved! Love it!

A fun and competent rail shooter

If you are looking for a quick bit of fun for your VR, this should be considered. First off, there are some roller coaster type stomach feelings that occur while playing. For me, that's great, one of the reasons I like VR. If you don't like that, skip it. As for the game, this is a rail based shooter played with the move controllers. Both hands hold a weapon. Other than that, no user input is needed. It's creepy with some jump scares and mildly intense moments as you are getting rushed by enemies. The time of the game is dark, but doesn't take itself too seriously. Think mental house carnival ride and you'll have an idea. Motion tracking for your aiming is done well here and no real struggles with the camera exist. It's really just a fun and mindless shooter to get into for awhile. Lengthier than a tech demo, but not too long. The idea here is to go back and replay as you learn where special and hidden items are in each track. I ended up scoring this on sale for $8 after gamers club discount and it's a steal for the amount of fun you get for that price.

This game oh this game....SHIVERS. I bought this game as my brother and nieces and nephews are gaga over zombies and hey I had a $20 gift card so what the heck. Now I am not one for horror movies and this was going to be just a simple VR shoot-em up game right? WRONG! This game is deserving of a horror tag. I'm surprised I didn't have a heart attack or wet myself. My heart was pounding so hard I could barely concentrate to play the game. So I handed it off to my brother. And this is what his heavy experience told me. The graphics were alright in the VR and better when seen on the TV. The controls tracked better than any other game he has played yet on the PSVR. But be ready for a challenge. For me even on EASY I had trouble with the difficulty. Though my brother played on HARD and loved the difficulty. The game isn't all about Jump Scares either. Their is a TON of gore. Like with the pigs squealing. And the game needs to be played with both earbuds. If a on rails horror shooter is what you want then is your game. Yes it is short, but fun for those that like this Genre.

Evil Clowns on a Rollercoaster VR

I have played this game, and I screamed my vocals out from watch lifelike clowns approach me in the game. Ever since watch the Stephen King's It, I have hated clowns since then. This VR game makes it worse. They sure got me with this one. Clowns hide in the shadows slowly revealing their evil grimaces. I scream while shooting at them haphazardly. Stop these ugly clowns!

    CREEPY VIRTUAL RAIL SHOOTER!

I like scary movies and game even though I get scared rather easily by them. I knew I would be in for a more immersive type of horror experience and I was right! The creepy feeling that virtual reality horror creates is unlike any horror movie feeling you get from watching on your HDTV. Playing this game I felt like I was in the game, riding in the cart and shooting for my survival. It was amazingly surreal coming from someone who originally owned an Atari 2600. I was nervously sweating while playing and smiling at how awesome it is. This is not even a real scary game. So I can only imagine how Resident Evil 7 will be. I will buy it and have to work up the nerves to play it. The horror genre will never be the same once the full potential of VR is utilized. This is fun game though...buy it if you like to shoot evil clowns. Definitely worth it for $20.

All Questions Answered! Why this game ROCKS!

    Posted .

Since the day one reveal trailer I was excited about this game. If you look at my PS4 VR review you will see what is up with the graphics. As most of you know the Playstation VR graphics look 480p on a CRT monitor. So yes the game does not look the best but it is FUN! Even though every review on YouTube and other websites gave this game a bad review or mediocre review I took a chance and bought it. I strongly disagree with the reviews. If you played VR world then you know that the London Heist is the best game because it is a shooter game. Until Dawn Rush is all that! I love the rollercoaster ride and the scares. I did get scared a few times and I love replaying the levels. Tons of fun and yes I say high replay value. Kind of reminds me of House of the dead but cooler. For $15.99 (Gamers unlocked) it is a great deal. I am going to wait for the Batman VR to go down in price since it has no replay value everyone is saying. So yes get this game, you will not be disappointed. It is fun!

Cool game. But I have a hard time passing the levels. My daughter does not though. I love playing it on the virtual reality game set. It’s somewhat makes you feel like you’re on an actual roller coaster at times. A fun game, not meant for kids.

Psvr has had the best launch of any console ever in my opinion. So many games and experiences that are amazing. I haven't gotten for in this as I am stuck trying to kill birds. (Seriously) but so far this game is great. I was having some tracking issues but since it was late, I did not feel like restarting the system for a short play session, which undoubtedly would fix the issue I was having, but besides that, the game is enjoyable. The graphics are slightly pixellated unfortunately and the iq is not the best, but the art style is creepy, and the mood is on point. This is one of those thunder mountain style roller coaster rides with demented slaughter houses, and decrepit manicans instead of singing furry friends and sunshine and rainbows. This is a wild ride and I can't wait to see how it ends!

This game is probably my favorite PSVR game currently released. The game play is a decent length, with good replay value and it's a great way to let friends/family test your PSVR. The first play through the game can be really scary, even to people who aren't generally scared by horror elements, however on subsequent replays it tends to lose it's scare factor and become more about strategy. My only warning would be if you have a bad case of motion sickness from roller coasters, this game will make you feel like you genuinely are on a coaster, and may make you feel sick. As a trophy hunter I also enjoy that this game was granted a Platinum trophy (generally smaller games don't get them) and it's quite difficult to obtain. All around I think this game is a must buy for PSVR owners, hands down.

Imagine for a second, Jigsaw built a one a them rollercoasters for an amusement park. Crank it up to 11 and that is what you get when you play Rush of Blood! The only major problem is the times where there are no enemies, and you are riding on the coaster itself. It looks real nice, it's just the cognitive dissonance between seeing yourself move and not actually moving caused me to get a bit of motion sickness. This is coming from someone who has yet to have a problem playing 2+ hours every time i use the headset.

good first jump into VR horror

As someone who's played horror games for as long as she can remember, I thought this would be another easy game, more of a shooter than anything actually "scary." I was wrong. Horror in VR is a whole different level, and I think Rush of Blood does well at introducing us to that concept. When it really, TRULY feels like you're there, and that these monsters are literally in front of your face, it surprising how easily you lose faith in your ability to fight back, even if you are dual-wielding guns. If you're up for a scare -- and at $20 and a lot of replay value, it's a great deal -- then I recommend it, for sure. If you're more faint of heart, well... maybe try a friend's out first, because it can be difficult to get into if you're not adjusted to horror.
