ITS SAD THAT OUR MEN WERE DONE SO WRONG EVEN BACK IN THOSE YEARS, I MYSELF WOULD NOT LASTED WITH ALL THOSE SHARKS. THIS WAS A WELL PREFORMED MOVIE AND TELLS OF HISTORY OF A NAVY.

One of the greatest stories of WWII. This tragedy is finally brought to light with excellent acting by Nicholas Cage. Highly recommended for WWII enthusiasts or Navy buffs.

Being a WWII Naval history buff, and knowing the actual history of the USS Indianapolis Nick Cage was not the best choice to play Captain MacVay. They were barely accurate in their portrayal of the incident. They totally left out the real villain, the dope who didn't report the ship missing...who was the former skipper of the Squalus...Navy didn't want him to have the black eye, so they sacrificed MacVay. The movie was ok otherwise, glad I didn't spend the bucks at the theatre on it.

This movie was a long time coming. I've seen a couple of documentaries about the USS Independence, and this movie honors the horrors that these sailors went through.

Acting was superb but the action shots were a little gruesome and disturbing at times. Hope the historical aspect was true because it proved to be quite interesting.

It is good that this part of our World War 2 history is finally told. The back stories do not always work, but they advance the plot and helps to humanize the men.

I like historically oriented movies. This is a good movie to educate todays generation about the extreme sacrifices the greatest generation endured for us.

If Nic Cage stars in the worst movie ever, I will still watch and support it. This review might be biased, but go Nic Cage. Support all the way!!!

I personally did not know this happened to the crew Nicholas Cage did a great job and our government needed an escape goat and used the captain as such

This is a heroic true WWII story how these sailors who overcame a horrific situation and survived

This film is by far an uplifting and historical moment in time of war. This shows how courageous are U S Navy has trained the men and woman serving.

Fair depiction of the events of the USS Indianapolis. However, the acting, animation and cinematography was awful.

Nicolas Cage is an officer on USS Indianapolis that is shipwrecked in shark invested waters and their survival during World War 2.

Like just about anything Cage is in. Good cast all around. Really makes you wonder about how people can survive something like this.

While not historically accurate, and not Cage's best work, it's a decent movie that makes you think about the sacrifices in war.

"USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage" features notable performances by Nicholas Cage & Tom Sizemore. An American war movie that features the aforementioned ship, this film captures your attention from start to finish. Well written script and roles were cast perfectly as well.

I havent watched it yet but hope it is good coz its look like it in the synopsis at the back of the cover... well see

Great movie.. Sad what those men had to endure and no one searching for them. There were a couple of scenes that made me jump. Nicholas Cage is one of my favorites, even though he's not the greatest of actors, but did a pretty good job. Really enjoyed this movie...

The Sharp microwave appears to be a fine product thus far and I have not noted any major deficiencies.

The movie was as historically accurate as Hollywood allows but the computer generated graphics were really bad. The generated picture of the airfield showing the Enola Gay was so inaccurate I started to laugh and the Japanese sub surfacing was a total joke. I popped out of the water so fast it should have left the surface. If you ignore the graphics, it was a good movie
