Why would you not actually check the sound quality first? These beat the beats, big time!

    Bass Head

So I am not an Audiophile by any means, but I am a Bass Head. I like heavy bass and really don't care about the mids and dont mind the treble. I am a serious Beats fan and love the Beats Pro and the heavy Bass. I almost bought a pair of the old Beats Studio because they are on sale for $179.00, but instead I got a pair of the V Moda M100 instead. Pros; They are very comfortable and "Bass" heavy, you can feel the bass hit. They are compact and fit away nice and neatly in the protective hard case it came with. No plastic so they are made to last. cons: The pros from Beats may have a little more Bass but again you are shelling out $$ some serious cash and they are really not built to last with all the plastic. when wearing them on my neck they hit my chin and are not that comfortable.I can see my self enjoying these head phones for a long time. I would recommend these to everyone over the beats, especially for the same price. Almost bought the new Beats studio over these V modas too, glad i didn't.they dont have the Bass that I need. good looking head phones but these V Modas are Awesome.

    Headphones for Bass Lovers

Only a few select Best Buy Magnolia Stores had them in stock for demo where you could actually put them one and listen to a variety of music. When I found a store that actually had one available I didn't hesitate to listen for a good solid 20 minutes before purchasing the last one in stock. Glad I did because these are now my companion headphones and will go with me everywhere I travel. The sound stage is very immersive and I don't call myself an audiophile by any means. I just like my music to sound like I'm in the studio with the musicians and when I close my eyes while listening to various style of music, I just get lost with the amazing feel and sound. NOTHING will prepare you for the quality of the V-Moda 100's ... it's expensive, yes but these may be the last headphones you will ever buy.

Easily, the best headphones I've ever owned. I use them for 8-10 hours a day, so comfort was important as well as sound quality. I can't praise them enough!! And they are good looking to boot.

    Fantastic Sound & Build Quality

These are definitely the best headphones I have ever owned. They have fantastic build quality and come with a nice carrying case, as well as a cord extension and a bunch of adapters. I use these on PC and my LG V20 and they sound great, with all genres of music. I did order the XL ear pads which will be a nice upgrade. If you are on the fence, go for it these are slick.

    Honestly some of the best

I have been through a few pairs of the lower VModa M80s (still outstanding), and for a smartphone, these are the best, especially with Samsung's music EQ. I added in a Fiio E17 DAC for more power and higher sample rates and these are really incredible. Budget audiophile incredible. BURN THEM IN, let them sit for about a day playing some music at a reasonable volume. they loosen up and the bass and treble get clearer. LISTEN TO THE INSTORE DEMO MODELS, they have had a few hours to burn in and will sound killer. My music tastes go from Opera to Deadmaus, but I have been listening to some classic live rock (Cream, Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Lightning Hopkins) and the range is impressive. If you get these for an underpowered source like older iPhones and iPods, you may not get the "punch" but if you love audio, you probably know about DACs and headphone amps for cleaner sound to really get the best out of them. My rig: Samsung Note 4, Fiio E17, V-Moda M-100, Fiio E09K (for desktop)

These headphones were recommend by a Best Buy member and he was right. They were amazing. Great highs and lows. These head phone put Beats to shame. I demo all headphones out there and these were by far the best.

Nice but poorly constructed & warranty is pathetic

These were given to me as a gift and I've used them for a year as my work headphones. I like the sound and the fact that they're wireless is great, but they're not very well constructed. After only ONE YEAR of light use one of the caps on the headband has fallen off and I can't adjust the headband anymore. I contacted them and not only is the warranty only a year (if they're so confident in their product, shouldn't it be a little longer?), but you have to have a proof of purchase. Who asks for a receipt for a gift? That's ridiculous. I asked if I could pay to have them repaired and they said that the only thing I could do was trade them in for a "hefty discount" which still left me buying a new pair of headphones for $250. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be buying from this company again. I urge everyone to consider finding a sturdier pair of headphones.

    Not for most people

These are very will made headphones, however they're poorly EQ'ed my opinion. They are far too bassy with a very recessed mid and high range. Some people who want bass and little else will be thrilled. Everyone else will be appalled.

No thank you i just paid 300+tax i expect your product to be as comfortable as the bose Quiet Comfort headphone..

    Bad Speakers

Bad speakers. Sound it totally off balance. Tried contacting the company on three different occasions now. Absolutely no response. There are much better headsets with less cost. Customer service with V Moda is horrible.
