    I loved the Valkyrie Chronicles series and this game goes back to its roots. The collector's edition has some nice items to add to your collection.

  • Finally Another Great Mainline Valkyria Chronicles

    First things first, if you enjoy turn-based strategy/tactical RPGs such as X-COM, Wasteland, etc. and enjoy anime then you'll love this series. This is a fantastic game that offers many many hours of gameplay and is rewardingly difficult at times when shooting for the best grades. The characters are well fleshed out and are all well voice acted in both the original Japanese and the dubbed English. In regards to the Collector's Edition, the DLC bonuses for the extra missions are nice if you played the first game in the series and the additional physical tank & art book are nice little trinkets. I'm just hoping that we'll get a console release for Valkyria Chronicles 2 & 3 as those both skipped consoles for whatever reasons and were handheld exclusives.
