Great continuation of the Valkyria Chronicles series.

I'm loving this game so far, but it does feel like a a clone of the first one. But with more features. Overall its still a fun experience.

The core game is great, but its held back by some lackluster storytelling, often terrible UI, and a few poorly designed missions.

I didn't like it as much as the past games, but it does a decent job all in all.

This is more of the same from the first game and just as god enjoying it greatly

This is pretty much a direct sequel to the original Valkyria Chronicles. It feature a unique strategy system.

Really love VC1, Mixed feeling for VC2, Really love VC3, Currently really loving VC4 the story so far are very good, playing as the federation really make it fresh. The character a likable and the gameplay is very similar to VC1 with a few upgrade. If you like VC1, you will like VC4. the only con is the price due to it being a multi-console game. So those who want to buy this game but a newcomer to the series, buy VC1 fisrt, it is very cheap on, give it a test, like it then buy VC4. Hope that the series continues or that Sega make a remake to VC2 and VC3. Especially VC3, please Sega. Short VC series summary below VC1 - Gallian militia story during EW2 VC2 - Gallian civil war story ( military academy student vs rebel ) after EW2 VC3 - Gallian Army Suicide Squad story during EW2 VC4 - Gallian in Federation Army story during EW2

If you played the first Valkyria Chronicles and enjoyed it then you will like this one as well. More of the same fun gameplay.

This was a birthday gift. He loves this series and can't stop playing this game.
