Hey Everyone, I wanted to finish the game before giving a review so now that I have finished it, here goes: The game is a lot of fun for the powers and combat. I like how the game gives you choices throughout the storyline. The missions are interesting at some points but I started to feel like all the battles were just fillers. I went the evil path and it was VERY easy to defeat all the bosses with the powers I leveled up. Some people online have said it is harder for the final boss if you are majorly leveled up but I found that wasn’t the case. I found it was relatively easy and never even used the health/stamina/blood syringes that you can create for a boost. I was really surprised. Maybe it will be harder for a “good” play through? Anyways, the critics are correct that there are glitches at some points during the game and the loading screens can be ridiculous in length and bountiful. Other than that, it wasn’t bad. I don’t have an internet connection so I didn’t download the updates/patches so my game probably was one of the few lucky vanilla versions to escape the bad glitches of freezing frames and game crashes. The conversations can get a little bit tedious as you are playing but it was interesting to hear about the characters stories. Maybe wait a little bit to buy until they fix all of the glitches the game has. Unless you get lucky like me, install the game and play offline the whole time making sure you don’t connect your console to the internet until you are done playing the game.

This game has gotten some mixed reviews and I can say i understand. This game is a bit tedious in the beginning, but when you reach the second chapter it is very entertaining and becomes a metroidvaina type game only your a vampyr struggling with being good or evil. The struggle is real because of you kill innocents you become stronger and the game is more accessible but if you go for being good, the game is much more difficult. If you like games that are not typical then this is for you.

The game is sometimes slow paced and the combat ok s pretty good. The story is amazing and very submersive with your desicions affecting future events. Reminds me of A mature Nightmare Creatures. Remember that one?

This is game takes quite some time to ramp up, but once it does, it's a very good RPG. There are some technical issues with the game, but the story is engaging to get past that.

If you are looking for a game to go multiplayer or 100+ hours of in depth RPG then this is not for you. However, this game does boast a very intriguing story which is supported by superb atmosphere.

This game was created from the same developers who worked on Life is Strange. Its a cool game that lasted about 25-30 hours for me which included completing about 60% of the sidequests. The story is interesting but the gameplay can be tough especially if you try not to kill any of the important NPC’s. The fighting system is a bit clunky but doable. It was definitely fun to juggle as to who to kill or leave as is to complete their sidequests fully.

This was a great game. The story was dark and interesting and the atmosphere was great. If you like vampires you might enjoy it. I also liked how difficulty depended on how you play the game instead of a setting. The more victims you feed on the stronger you get and the easier the game.

I had really high hopes for this game. I won’t say that I’m disappointed but I will say I’m not totally impressed. The storyline is great. The combat is mediocre so far. The graphics should and could be a lot better considering it’s 2018.... At the same time I have a love for vampires and third person hack and slash games... As I am leveling up I am enjoying the game more and more there is not much explanation in the beginning of the game nor are there tutorials so it took me a while to get the hang of everything but I think the game is going to get better and better and I still do you have hopes to fall in love with it.

Great Story, Great Graphics, but the combat system leaves much to be desired. If you don't kill and feed you'll be weak, but if you feed on the wrong people it can make gameplay harder but they claim it helps you. The vampire hunters in game are too overpowered no matter what level you are, and they can be annoying at times. Otherwise, this is a great game!

Life is Strange is my favorite episodic game ever. Not counting exclusives in the conversation (Spider Man), this game has my vote for game of the year. Completely original story, great gameplay, and just plain dope. This is a must play for anyone that loves narrative driven games.

This game is a lot of fun. The combat is very satisfying. If you are a fan of vampires I recommend this game.

So far, I have about 10 hours into this game. It has a strong and compelling story line, as well as characters that I believe are going to be well developed. The only drawback that I can think of would be the complicated interaction system that plays out in the character background screen. This is a good game if you are not a fan of multiplayer online games.

Would recommend for fans of the Witcher series. The combat feels similar and this is a story driven game.

This game has a really compelling story in which you play as a doctor during a vampire outbreak and you have lots of choices to make along the way that affect the outcome of the story. Combat graphics and story are good.

This game has an great atmosphere and setting. Story is interesting and engaging.

I know its a simple idea to think of a game called Vampyr and it being dark. But man, this thing starts off just rough. I was in shock that this was as dark as it is. I beat it after three days so shorter story but man, the different outcomes you can find are really nuts. Overall fun game but not a great one.

This game is fantastic! Every decision you make in the game effects your game later. The gameplay is great and so is the story. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys RPG's.
