This is not the show that first started on Broadway. It has evolved with songs taken from the movie and put into the production. There was even a new song for Frenchie before "Beauty School Drop Out". Their acting was great as was the singing but there were 2 stars of this show. The first was the excellent dancing. It was extremely well done. The other star was actress Vanessa Hudgens whose father died before the show was broadcast. Like the trooper that she is, she did the show and never once strayed from character. This production was one of the best Broadway Live shows ever done on TV.

A faithful rendering of a musical classic. The new Sandy does an admirable job and the new Danny Zucko is just marvelous with a much better singing voice than John Travolta. Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo was absolutely "spot on". The only issue was having "Boys to Men" take the role of "Teen Angel" from the original. Seemed extremely out of place and the opening "Intro" number could have hit the cutting room floor. The original will never be topped but this is very much worth watching and the "Live" aspect makes it a real wonder. The extras on the DVD are really worth watching

I love this movie. It is a great new take on Grease. The actors did an amazing job. Got's to Love It!!! If you haven't seen it yet and you are a fan of Grease, you should definitely purchase and watch this movie. I have a sneaking suspicion you will love it...

My 8 yr old daughter loved the live show on Fox and watched it constantly On Demand. She was upset that it would only be available On Demand for a short period of time so I went to Best Buy and purchased the DVD. The only negative I can provide is that it was not Blu Ray with a Digital copy as other discs are. She continues to watch this show on the DVD.

I saw this live performance on T V and couldn't wait to purchase it on DVD. All of the actors played their roles to the highest level. The dancing, singing and scenery put me in the middle of the performance. It was awesome.

Very enjoyable remake of the classic film. Excellent casting and great staging! Part of it was filmed live and that is fun to watch them get from scene to scene. Juliane Hough as Sandy is terrific.

The live production of Grease breathes new life into a treasured musical. Really can't be compared to the film due to the spontaneity of a live broadcast. Both are excellent in their own right.

I really loved the Original Classic and it's sequel & i was eager to see the live version and it didn't disappoint me! Not to mention I am a huge fan of Julian Hough ! I would suggest this to anyone who's a fan of the original movies!

Saw this when it was broadcast on television, and immediately pre-ordered it for my collection. I love live performances, and this did not dissapoint. Highly recommended.

This television version of Grease is done equally well as the original. The soundtrack is also excellent. It is well-worth your time to purchase this excellent video.

Having the audience on stage was genius! The casting was brilliant, especially Vanessa Hudgens. The staging of the car race was exceptional, clever, and convincing.

I remember I used to love watching the original movie countless times when I was a kid, and the live musical does a great job upholding it's legacy.

I've seen this movie hundreds of time on movie channels, vhs and now I finally own it on DVD. This movie never gets old.

This production of Grease showcases the talents of this amazing cast and perfectly captures the movie and stage versions.

This rendition did not disappoint! Enjoyed the new approach to presenting this version. Thought it was creatively done.

Topping the original version of Grease is difficult but the cast does a great job of adding their twist to the movie.

This is a great movie and the stars that performed and sang were so great, I would definitely recommend this movie.
