    You'll love these!

I've always found Verbatim blank media to be reliable and that's definitely the case with their 50 pack DVD+R's. I have used these for years and RARELY have a coaster. (I can say that about other brands.) Transfer is clean and audio is clear. Verbatim may cost a little more than other brands, but the difference in quality and reliability is worth the extra pennies per DVD. You won't be disappointed!

    Rated Better than Sony

I have used Sony dvd+r for years and averaged about 8X Recordings and 9 min to burn a disc. I bought these Dvds because of the reviews and the price and I must say I am sticking with these from now on. I get true 16X Recordings and less than 5 min. to burn. These discs read instantly in both dvd players. Sony I sometimes had to eject several times to get them to recognize. Also these discs are stiffer than most and seem to be more durable. If your reading this for inspiration then this is the one I would recommend for you. I hope you have the same results......

These DVD+R discs are truly the best around, I have yet to have a coaster! These DVD's also have an expensive feel to them which basically means they feel like they are well made and put together, some brands of recordable media have a very cheap feel to them and thus the top side where you write on chips away over time and (at least with cd-rs, not sure about dvds) incidentally that is where the data is stored so the disc becomes defective and useless, but not these, very solid discs! Basically just great and VERY affordable! They should be free though, just like everything else should be free! No? =-(

    Reliable quality

I have never had a problem with these discs. Never made a coaster (or hover craft from my son's science kit). I have used generic ones at work, and about 15% of the time I have a problem. The Verbatims perform well, burn fast, and play reliably in other DVD drives and DVD players. These match well to my external Sony burner (830u). And the +R configuration is better than the -R because of its re-writing capability (but only write once) and improved error handling. I have no complaints, but I will not give 5 stars because I have not yet had a chance to evaluate long term reliability with these. Wait for these to go on sale (under fifteen) and stock up. Highly recommended. 4.25 stars.

This is the only DVD media I will use. Burned over 1,000 with very few coasters. (99% of coasters occured because I had my screen saver turned on while burning.) I use them primarily for data archives. Fast and reliable. The label side has plenty of room to write on.

After trial and error and reading review after review I now use only Verbatims. The quality is only matched by Taiyo Yudens (only available at some online retailers) and there are no DVD player compatibility issues. When it comes to the world of blank DVD media, use these and you won't regret it.

I have Ran out of HD space and needed to back up alot of data and because dvds dont hold as much your going to need alot of them so if you figure 100 pack spindle cost you 30 to 40 bucks and these are 10.99 a pack it will cost you like 21 bucks. good value vs 100 pack! Second With DVD +R they are compatable with basicly every platform. I recomend this brand alot they are durable and the quality is exelent. good buy vs price= happy customer

Tried other brands always come up disk error on most of it. So I switch to verbatim which really works. I am not losing that many blank disk but I do get disk error ocassionally after recording some movies(blah). Ths is the only brand that work in this machine no other choices must buy.

Outstanding media. Have exclusively used Verbatim DVD+R / DVD-R for 3+ years. Every burn is a keeper (not a single coaster). Very high compatibility with standalone DVD players (even older ones).

Verbatim stands out as the top DVD writable disc manufacturer. I've never had one coaster from these discs and they play back perfectly. I've tried a few others in the past but found that Verbatim is rock solid over other brands.

I have not had any trouble with the data discs I've burned so far. I haven't had the chance to burn a DVD, but based on the reviews I read before purchasing Verbatim, these are the best brand for DVD discs.

The best burnable dvds on the market. No bad burns, plays perfectly and never fails. Better than Sony and Memorex combined. I never get anything else.

I never burn coasters with Verbatim products and they are read by all drives and players after burning. Most reliable in a category where name recognition is NOT everything and quality varies widely.

    Cheap and Effective

I use dvd disc very often and have spent a fortune on them in the past. Then I saw these on Best Buy online. They weren't "cheap" but they were definitely a lower price then I have paid in the past. Cheap, especially when it comes to most things, means poorer quality. However, after working with these discs for a bit, I've found no difference between them and any others. They have the same save space, saving speed (which depends mostly on your computer anyway), looks, etc. I'm very satisifed with these dvd discs and will probably invest my money in them again.

    Most reliable media out there

After disappointing results with both off brand (such as store brand) and other major brand media, Verbatim is one of only two or three brands of DVD blank media I will buy. I have always had consistently excellent results whether burning a data-only disc for computer use or video for playback on my Sony DVD player. Other brands either burn poorly for DVD playback or degrade over time. Verbatim only sells discs made by one of the top quality manufacturers of blank media.
