This rendition of FRANKENSTEIN was so much better than the movie that came out a few weeks ago, the plot was more in keeping with the wonderful book, and the actors did a marvelous job with the material

I did not see this in the theaters and I have been waiting for it to show up on DVD and on sale so that made the viewing even better. I would recommend this for Frankenstein fans

Probably one of the worst bombs in recent history this movie is no where near as bad as you imagine. It doesn't quite fall into so bad it's good territory but neither does it fall into being horrible. It's the definition of serviceable.

Victor Franksenstein, James McAvoy & Daniel Ratcliffe are absolutely amazing and hilarious together, especially with a monster creation of their own making FRANKENSTEIN wants them both! Enjoy! :-)

Great cast. Great characters. A new telling of a classic story. The visuals captures your imagination and the cast and story telling keep you drawn in. An incredible new meeting of an old friend.

It was an action movie for the most part with Frankenstein as the backdrop. It also dwells into why Frankenstein wanted to create life. The gadgets,costume,settings are well done.

Great acting and beautifully shot film. Best thing Daniel Radcliffe has done onscreen. I enjoyed the emotional aspect of the Frankenstein story that is usually neglected in the genre.

I have yet to view the movie, but the cast of characters and title were enough to lure me into purchasing. And yes, I am giving it 5 stars and recommending it to friends... it's only money.

The story is very different then the original but a lot of fun. James McAvoy portrays a great mad scientist while Daniel Radcliffe is great as a genius level headed assistant.

Overall this is a good movie but it lacks the intrigue of a faster paced movie to maintain the attention of the general movie goer. However this is worth every cent if your are in your home for the weekend with nothing important to do.

Any movie with either Radcliffe or McAvoy is great and this has them both. McAvoy did a fantastic job playing Frankenstein. Very entertaining movie and I'm hoping for a sequel.

It is a fun take on the classic tale- I am a fan period pieces with contemporary flair (Brothers Grimm, Hansel & Gretel). Its not a waste of time, but it really needs to be your cup of tea before going into it.

This movie was rather campy and it wasn't worthy of Daniel Radcliff's talents. I found it rather campy and did not find it equual to Mel Brooks "Young Frankenstein," which was a classic. However the special effects were good

This is a good movie it’s part of the 16 horror movies bestbuy released on Blu-ray steelbook this year for Halloween so I recommend picking up all 16

This re-imagining of Frankenstein is top notch. Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy had great chemistry and played well off of each other. The action and drama mixed well.

purchased this movie because it was on sale and came with the itunes digital copy. Was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

I really like the new directions this movie took on the original story. It had some very interesting twists to all of the major story points and was very well done.

Interesting take on the classic Frankenstein from igors point of view. Radcliffe and mcavoy are great. Only gripe is igors not in the original Frankenstein. But that doesn't take away from the movie.

This movie was awesome to me!!! I've watched it over and over this last week!!! Love the spin they put on this movie and how they left it open for squeal!!!

Max Landis manages to write a different script that works for a new take on M.S Frankenstein. Good popcorn flick with an amazing score. Must get on Bluray.
