It works perfectly - nice features, the video preview window is a bit small.

Does what we need it too. We were coping old vhs' over to dvd and it's done well. They also play well in our xbox one and Blu-ray player as well.

I have yet to copy onto a DVD, but so far, the files have looked just fine.

Works as stated. I converted a 25 minute clip, and duration was about an hour or so to make a quick DVD. If I played around with this, I could have added music, effects, etc. For the price, not bad features to create a nice dvd. Definitely worth the money.

We have so many old home movies that I wanted to save, as well as audio cassettes, so this is a lifesaver. It has easy and advanced modes, something that has been really helpful as I had not tried something like this before.

Used this to make some digital copies of my home videos to give my to my mom due to an unfortunate family crisis this was just the surprise my mother needed and now my old memories are digital and going to live forever!!

Dont be fooled, it is not automated. It is simply an adapter to connect your camcorder or vhs player to USB and the software (buggy on Windows 10) is very basic. You must sit there and click play on the device and record on the computer and then stop on the device and stop on the computer to create your digital versions. You can put a self timer on the computer to automatically stop recording that segment into digital but you must know ahead of time how long that segment is on the video tape. If you have one or two to videos to convert then fine get this if its on sale. If you have many videos to convert, find an automated solution, it will most definitely be worth the price difference.

first off, when you go to record, the audio has a tick lasting 30 seconds . which i found, doesn't get recorded. I thought the latest version of the software might have a fix, but support for this device is not (as of yet) on the website. i have also recorded some video, only to have the first 20 to 30 minutes missing, out of an hour and a half recording. not compatible with 3rd party video capture software either. not happy, but i can get it to work(ish).

This transferred our video tapes to DVD. Pretty easy to do. I haven't figured out with certainty just how to to piece certain portions of a VHS tapes to make a DVD. Duplicating a VHS to DVD WAS simple.

The product is very simple to use and it's great that you don't have to chance loosing your important tape recordings. Now you can move them to a video file and save them for later viewing

This did exactly what it was supposed to. I couldn't be happier.

The device itself is great but the software could be better. I used other software to transfer my VHS and Hi-8 videos over to DVD format.

I converted 5 old tapes and the sound and quality were spot on
