Bluetooth capability not as advertised

Bluetooth only seems to work when using the projector home menu. Once switched to HDMI output the projector reverts back to the internal speaker. Worked with ViewSonic support and tested with multiple Bluetooth speakers with same result. RMAd the projector and received a new one in just under 15 days. Setup new projector and tested with same results. No official documentation available but advised that the projector doesn’t work with all speakers, but a list of comparable speakers could not be provided either. Picture quality is great, internal speaker is good for a projector. On max volume it was just loud enough for an outdoor event on a 15’ x 35’ patio.
