I had never heard of this show before but I decided to give it a try. It was amazing! I'm now hooked! If you like Vikings this show is for you! The scenery is amazing in itself as well.

This has quickly become one of my favorite shows. Season 1 is a little slower paced than the other seasons but it's still great and you have to start at the beginning

This first Season promises so much as the story line builds to a pulse pounding Classic Epic tail of great a Great Warrior and his Thirst for Life. Stunningly Written and Directed!

Excellent purchase, it had extended scenes. I love the series so or anyone who hasn't seen it and is contemplating buying this series I would suggest it's the best version.

One of the best shows I've ever watched! As usual best buy had their amazing prices and I got it for 20 bucks. I loved it, I just wish there was more to watch!

I absolutely love this show. Owning the blu-ray allows me to watch it anytime I want. I get to enjoy a great picture and sound that was possible when it was on television.

The first few episodes were a little hard for me to get though. Lots of character building. But once I got past the first few I was completely hooked. Great show so far!!

Great series based on real people and events. Incredibly well-acted. Having the whole season on one DVD is perfect for binge watching.

Wow this series doesn't hold anything back. Often violent and bloody but seems very believable. All I can say is I'm glad I didn't live back then. Great Series

My wife and I watched these on a streaming service, but loved them so much, decided to buy the DVDs. A great series!

We wanted to have the entire Vikings collection to watch before Season 4 premiered on Television to watch at our convenience. The Bluray quality is fantastic!

I give this dvd a review of 4 out of 5. Since not much is known per say, of viking culture, rituals, and religious beliefs we are led to make our own conclusions and I think this dvd accurately portrays these instances. I absolutely love the characters with-in this dvd and hope to Odin that the series continues for seasons to come.

I got Season 1 because I came into the series late & wanted to see it from the beginning. Season 1 is not as good as season 2, due to necessity of character development, etc. But if you want the back story, then this is a must have. Be aware that this is not for kids, due to violence, etc. I'd recommend for over age 13 only.

Excellant series. Watched from first air and continue. Shows exactly what the Vikings were like and how they conquered. Not for youg viewers. Some scenes too grafic!

WOW the History channel appears to be the next AMC. I great intro to a great series. I assume if this was in the theater it would be rated PG-13. The characters are well developed and the the episodes are well written. If action and lust are what you are looking for then this is a show to check out.

Watched the tv series. Much better watching the DVD when you can continue without commercials or waiting a week for the next episode.

I really like the action since starts. I kind of hated those Vikings doing whatever they could to take over towns but I guess that is how it was in the past. This one is kind of similar to 300...If you like action with some crazy lies you will like these. I started it watching it and i had to finish it in three days..

I'm loving this series....but I have to warn you that it is very bloody. I have to look away from some of the scenes but overall it is a cool show.

If you love Viking lore, you will love this show. When this season was over I wanted more, this show is so addicting. I highly recomend it.

I love this whole series of the Vikings buying the whole series for my library would recommend
