Excellent portrayal of a warrior dominated society. This portrays a time of conflict when life was cheap and conflict was prevalent.

This series is better than what I thought it would. I think it's worth watching but keep in mind it's not for children or young teens.

Great Series and the Blurays are phenomenal. If you haven't watched this show and like GOT or shows similar you must give it a try.

Vikings is a great tv series from The History channel. I got my copy for 20 dollars which was a great price. I hope season 2 will be just as good.

This is a great series to own. All the actors seem to blend naturally. Breathtaking and exciting to watch. You can't wait to see the next one.

The adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok: the greatest hero of his age. The series tells the saga of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. There are some Hollywood liberties taken during the show this is to be expected, it is a show.

I was undecided whether or not to get this, But I did. It is great tons of action. Similar to games of thrones, but more action.

Great characters with great fighting, love the series big fan, great story with great acting, can't stop watching until next season

If you love Vikings this is the series for you. The first season grabs you and doesn't let go. You will be back for season two!

Being a huge Game of Thrones fan I was looking for a new series to get lost in. It in no way compares to Game of Thrones, however it does have its own merits and it is worth giving it a view. It took five or six episodes before I became invested in the storyline.

The acting is great the story line is believable the filming is 2nd to none. I am waiting on season 2 to come out so I can get it as well.

If you haven't seen any of this series just do yourself and buy this! After you watch this first season you'll be hooked.

This is a very good show. I don't have the historical knowledge to know if this is accurate. Some of the things they do surprised me, but that may just be that I am not an expert on this era in Norse history. Very enjoyable show to watch. I recommend it without reservation.

I like this series, and I will be awaiting season 2 to come out. However, I think that it lacked in action. I like a lot of battle scenes and action. This lacked intensity. I would recommend this to a friend. I liked the plot as well as the characters. Has a little bit of action.

Bought this for me and my girlfriend to watch after game of thrones. We both like it a lot and will continue watching

Good series, can be slow at times. Some people complain that the women are fighting in the series, but that's actually accurate. Women were strong warriors that were expected to fight and also handle the household finances because they had "magical powers".

my son raves about this series and it is all he wanted for Christmas. So black Friday I was buying.

Bought the First Season when it was on sale, and after the first few episodes I was hooked. Would certainly recommend!
