I bought this after doing some research and did not see that there is an annual fee and without you can't use the device. I think it should come with a manual remote starter so you can choose to not use the gps feature if you decide it isn't worth the extra annual cost. Sometimes it won't start because it says there's an authentication error with the server. I wish it notified you when it was started because if you miss the quick check mark you don't even know if it worked. Once it gave me the error signal about 4 times and when I finally got to the garage my car was running.

This item works well the phone app is easy to use. Its a little slow to unlock/lock there is quite a delay, so you have to unlock much sooner than usual while walking to the vehicle or you will be waiting outside for the doors to unlock. Wish the app showed the vehicle status as you trigger each command. There is a page that will show you this info but it takes a while to load, but overall we like it. Our factory installed option would shutdown the vehicle when the doors were unlocked, then you would have to start the vehicle with the key again.

I do like this but the only problem is that you have to purchase a service AFTER purchasing the product. It is awesome that I can start my car from anywhere but I really don't like the fact that I have to pay for service to do that.

Got this installed and when it was time to set up I found out I needed to buy a subscription for it to work. The starter works off a phone app, which is kind of cool. The problem is sometimes it doesn't work and you walk out to your car and find out it never started.

I bought this car starter on line and went to get this installed in my car. The installer was quitting after the next day. The staff was very helpful in every way to fit me in the next day and it was installed. they were all very professional and helpful. I am very pleased.

When it works it's great. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to work. It's not as good as I expected but some of the other features make up for it not starting every time. Over all its OK.

I intitialy ordered the Viper Automatic Starter that can be started by a smartphone. It was a gift for my wife. She decided that she didn't want to pay for a subscription for the service. Instead of the Bestbuy staff giving her another Viper product he gave her another auto starter from another manufacturer. Being that I was away on business. The alternate is the worst. I can be in a clear unobstructed view & still have to press the button 3 times for the vehicle to start. I am sure not to buy anything else from bestbuy requiring them to install anything on another of my cars.

The idea behind product is great! But the app doesn't consistently work. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I wish I wouldv'e spent the money on one I know would start every time.

Works great, but I saw no on-line mention that a subscription was required, about $200 for 3 years. No regrets, just wish I had known this before buying on line.

This car starter works great. It took a little getting used to however now that I have it, it has made life much easier.

The Mobile app freezes almost every other day. I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it before it can work. I am not happy with the product. Now, if I issue command to start the car, the car alarm is triggered instead.

It was a Christmas gift for my brother, he was very excited to receive it!

Horrible product, only works hlf of the time, you cant use you factory key fob to unlock the door. When you remote start it disables that so you have to use your smartphone to unlock it. My wife got stuck in the rsin because the unlock signal didnt work 3 times to unlock vehicle after the car started, it took 3 tries to start the car fyi. Dont buy it. Its horrible

I loved the quality of service Best Buy offers with the install!! Great team! The product itself works great! I’ve had no issues what so ever! I love getting into a warm car on cold mornings!!

I really enjoy the camera. I give it a 100%! I would only recommend that you be aware the distances are off. Learn your distance when using this camera and it is wonderful!

Have had problems with my headlights shutting off and not being able to turn on headlights as well as marker lights flickering. Unable to turn off vehicle after using remote start until pressing brake pedal. If I don’t use remote start none of these issues occur. Not sure if this is related to install or equipment. Purchased at Best Buy and had it installed by Best Buy.

Great product, works very well. Getting into a warm vehicle is so nice on a cold morning. Installation by tech was professionally done.

Very poor customer service from Viper. They responded to my request for assistance a week later with an email saying they'd be contacting me soon. One month later and I'm still waiting. Best Buy has been very good about trying to resolve my issues.

Best Buy Installation was awesome. Was a bit concerned with my brand new vehicle, but everything turned out great

There are times when I'm inside and about 20' away and the app tells me it can't connect. Works fine with my car fob but as far as the app big disappointment and that was the only reason I bought this
