I purchased this product for a 2010 Subaru Impreza. I guess the starter itself was a decent deal ($149), but the installation was pretty darn expensive in my book. The product itself works okay. I only use it during the winter and it starts my car about half the time on the first try. For some reason, the starter cranks my engine for maybe a second, and if it doesn't immediately roll over then it stops cranking. By no means is my car brand new, but it's also not that old (5 years old in 2015). My battery is new as of this past fall, so I know that's not the issue. I'll have to go back to the manual to see if the cranking time is adjustable, but it's pretty hit or miss. Additionally, the Geek Squad installation was expensive ($360), which, for me was more than 2x the cost of the actual starter. I feel like the guys at my Best Buy did a good job of installing it, but the additional hardware (2 - $99 security system bypasses, a couple of other rinky dink 20 or 30 dollar items) were pretty costly. If you do decide to buy this item, be aware that it may not start your car every time on the first try and the cost of installation can be more than 2x the cost of the actual starter.

Yes, the range isn't as great as the more expensive models, but it's more than enough for my use. It doesn't penetrate walls, for the most part, but it starts my car when I'm in the house, when I'm in my work building, and when I'm walking out of the store.

Bought this as a present for my wife and she loves it. It is reliable and the range is good.

This being my first vehicle with remote start.. I don't have anything to compare to. The range is very impressive to me for the price and the installation was spot on.

My vehicle had the viper in it and my windshield broke and the Safelite guys cut the alarm antenna. The BestBuy guys in Rogers had me in and out in a day. They were awesome.

This has been a very cold winter and now I can start and warm up my car from the warmth of my house. I love it! No more sitting in a freezing car waiting for it to warm up.

Having the Remote Start has been just great. The system has worked perfectly. Make sure to get installation appointment ASAP as there is a long waiting time.

I bought this starter and used it for about a year, got a new car and had Best Buy take it out of my old car and put it in the new car.
