If you said hey man I just got a Samsung Galaxy, obviously the general public are going to assume you mean either one of the S series or the Note series and say "wow thats a great phone, wish it wasn't almost $700" and you can just laugh and say "naw, $230 bro" after looking at your phone and using it, seeing how fast it is, how good the cameras are and how to the average joe it looks, feels and acts like a top of the line $700 phone they are gonna be like "It must have been stolen or something" and you'll be all like "best buy man, full price too; not one of those contract special deals" then all of the sudden all your friends are going to sign up with virgin mobile, boost mobile, or metro pcs for that cheap phone bill knowing they can get a phone this amazing at that price point. Anyways the phone is great, cameras are amazing, front facing flash for them selfies at night, an octo core processor (you read that right... octo core... they make those now) that makes it super fast, and a sleek design reminiscent of my favorite phones from the galaxy s series (before the new one with the weird screen that wraps around the edges) a must buy for anyone that isnt a complete tool that needs to own the latest top model phone.

The Samsung J7 is a great mid-range phone. Boasting a OLED screen it's vivid and bright. The 8 core processor can power through most things effortlessly, With 16 g gig of onboard storage it has expandability to last for quite a while. It's not the top of the line, but for most, the price point is just right!

Camera is really good! Battery lasts all day! Very nice screen size. Very great alternative to the more pricey Galaxy S series from Samsung. I'd definitely recommend if you want a quality smartphone on a budget or if you want just want an impressive phone. This is a great option. My only (small) complaint is the lack of a notification light, but it is not a deal breaker. For this price, the quality of this phone is very good. A+

The J7 has been a really good mid range phone. It's got enough memory at 16 gbs that you can run plenty of apps. If you take a lot of pictures or videos you'll probably want to get an SD card for additional storage. I do wish that you could store app data on the SD, but I haven't run into any storage issues yet. The performance has been solid and graphics have been pretty good as well. It's not as clear or smooth as a S7, but that's why it's a mid tier phone. It's a phablet, so know you're getting a phone on the larger side. The outer case and screen are plastic, but neither feel cheap. Overall, pretty pleased with it.

Bought this phone for my son. He is very happy with the speed. The battery life is great and last 1 1/2 to 2 days depending on use. It has a very large screen and a lot of memory. We would definatly recommend this phone.

I really like this phone because it has tons of storage for all the apps I want and the processor speed is better than I expected. The screen resolution is great for watching videos. The phone casing is sturdy which is a plus and it feels good in the hand. The camera is average, Battery doesn't drain fast, the speaker is loud, and it does not overheat. It is a well rounded phone for the price and couldn't be happier with this purchase.

This bigger cousin to the J3 doesn't suffer from that phone's lack of power--with an octacore processor everything runs smoothly and without the noticable lag you experience on the J3. You can listen to music and use the GPS at the same time with no problems. The battery life is pretty good compared with older Samsung phones and it charges quickly. There are a couple of areas where Samsung skimped unnecessarily, however. There is no ambient light sensor which doesn't bother some people, but for a two hundred dollar plus phone, it's a pretty basic feature to leave out. The whole build also feels cheaper than it needs to, with too much plastic and a non-gorilla glass screen. The speaker is also less than impressive, although it's adequate. Call quality seems to be good. The J7 also comes with the current version of Android, which gives a pretty smooth experience. All in all, this is a solid phone but for the money, Samsung could have done better. You are definitely paying a little bit of a premium for the Samsung name compared with the features and builds of other phones in the same price range. If I wasn't stuck with Virgin Mobile's poor selection of phones this would not be my choice, but given their selection and this price range, it's about as good as you can do.

I bought this phone originally as a replacement phone for my son. The phone was on sale for a very great price, and was replacing a Samsung phone. The phone has been fabulous for him! It has a larger screen size which is great for gaming, and is very durable. The phone is fast and has great memory, and a fraction of the price of a Galaxy S7. I would highly recommend this phone.

I like the larger screen of the J7. Phone is easy to use and understand. Was able to transfer most of my information from Galaxy S3 using Smart Switch. Only thing missing on phone was a music player and I was able to download an App to resolve that issue. Calls are clear. Battery life is extremely good. Photos for the most part are good.

Most new phones cost half a mortgage payment and leave you wondering about the value. This phone was reasonably priced, had all great size screen for both apps and videos, and surprising resolution. It was easy to use and Samsung file share features made setting it up a breeze. If you are unsure about converting from one phone to another and haven't done so with Virgin, fear not. The conversion was simple and without hickups. I've been impressed with the battery life, the headphones sounds great, and the overall functionality and usability of the Android OS are wonderful. I would highly recommend this to any tech loving person on a budget.

I've had this phone for about two months now and have yet to experience any issues with it. The battery lasts much longer than my older phone the Galaxy S3 and runs games and apps well (especially Pokemon GO for you nerds out there!)
I haven't had an issue with freezing except once, and Google Maps runs perfectly for my far drives to New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
One issue I'm not a fan of is that 5 GB of memory is being taken my Google Play Music. I have yet to discover a way to bring that memory down despite uninstalling GPM and going on their website. All of my music is on my SD card and shouldn't be affecting the phone's memory but it is somehow.
Other than those tiny issues, the phone is great: Excellent long lasting battery (even when playing Pokemon GO) and smooth, fast processing of apps & games.

This phone was an upgrade from an HTC model i had. This phone Samsung has way more memory and is a bigger screen and way faster. So far no complaints. Battery life holds up pretty good so far.

Good phone and price. It has pretty much every feature you want or need, at a fraction of the cost of a Galaxy S or iPhone. I thought this phone would be too large for me at first, but I quickly got used to it. Sometimes the phone does lag, freeze, or randomly reboot but it doesn't happen often enough that it's a major problem. I usually have no trouble picking up an LTE signal, and it's very fast compared to how slow Virgin Mobile's network used to be. The biggest downfall in my opinion, is there is no otterbox available for this phone (as of when I purchased it).

I love this phone! Amazing photo quality, large screen and it's fast. I only gave it 4 stars because the battery isn't as long lived as I was hoping. I put a 32G memory card to expand storage and I haven't had any issues. I am having problems with videos buffering on YouTube but I noticed it's only in certain places (so I chalked it up for wifi issues). Overal, best bang for your buck!

I love the camera. It has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, which is great! It also has a really good battery. I only need to charge it once a day. I like that I could transfer my pictures and contacts from my old phone to my new phone just because I have a google account. It was pretty affordable. I only paid $150 for it. I just don't like how the apps and back button freeze up sometimes. I only had a problem with it overheating the first day I had it. After that, I had no problems at all.

I purchased this product to replace my aging Samsung Galaxy S III. It is affordable.
What impressed me the most with this product was fast charging time and long lasting battery life. I remember having to charge my old phone at least twice during the day and having to constantly keep in the back of my mind to at least carry battery charging pack ready if not near an outlet. This phone takes that burden off my shoulders.
The phone has a large screen and it is easy to use.
I already scratched the screen protector (not the screen itself) so I would suggest to anyone purchasing the product to get a little better screen protector than the one that comes with the phone. Other than that I have nothing else to say. Now go get this phone for yourself! :D
