I love it. I upgraded from a 9800 gt and my computer has new life. I am currently playing BF3, D3, LOL, and I have absolutely no performance issues. This card handles everything with ease and runs cool and quiet. I was a little hesitant about the brand at first, but this board runs perfectly and comes with a lifetime warranty (though the value of that is yet to be determined). If you want a great gaming card without the hefty price of the top of the line cards, you cant go wrong with this card. Check out the review of this card on Tom's Hardware if you are considering this card. When you do, you will be back to pick one up. Very happy with my purchase. I thought I needed to upgrade my mobo and processor, but this card will hold me over for a while. At some point I do want to upgrade to PCIe 3.0, but other than that this card is awesome

Expensive for an x850 series, but worth it

Just upgraded from the Radeon 4850 that was near and dear to my heart. Coming from a card that provided the absolute best price/performance balance I have ever seen in 15 years ($150 and it still performed reasonably well 3 years later), I wasn't exactly thrilled with dropping $250 on an x850 series. Relative value aside, I am quite pleased with the new card...it performs extremely well and stays cool under load, even if the fan is a bit loud. Upgrading has just breathed new life into my 3 year old machine (Q9450, 4GB RAM, 60GB SSD, 750 GB HD) and should allow me to postpone a CPU/Mobo/RAM upgrade for another couple of years. As with the reviewer who preceded me, I'd love to upgrade to PCIe 3.0, but deferring the cost of a major overhaul for a couple of extra years is really nice. Though I've never experienced a problem with a graphics card within its useful life, knowing that I can fall back on a manufacturer's lifetime warranty is "icing on the cake". However, make sure you register with VisionTek with the receipt within 30 days of purchase or else you forfeit the lifetime warranty and default to the 1-year warranty. One thing I'm unhappy with is the packaging. As far as I'm concerned, packaging a $250 consumer electronic product in static-neutral pink poly is absolutely unacceptable. The product should be in an anti-static bag, especially since the cost savings seem like they should be negligible at best. As a consumer, I expect my electronics to be completely protected from ESD until I take responsibility for the product, and pink poly is not sufficient for that purpose.
