THE BREAKDOWN:
The Vitamix ONE blender is a sleek smaller version of the classic Vitamix blender designed to be smaller to take up less counter space while providing most of the same features as the original.
This blender was easy to assemble and with a quick clean and rinse you are ready to go. This blender is very simple to use as it only has one dial to control the speed. This is a 32oz blender which I found perfect for making morning shakes. This blender is NOT intended for use to make hot soups, nut butters or grinding grains. If you attempt to make any of those things it will void the warranty. This blender comes with a 2-year full warranty that even includes two-way shipping.
The retro look with the simple dial is very cool. The build of the blender is sleek and stylish but feel very well built. The speed dial is simple and easy to use. However, it would have been nice to have a pulse option maybe at the end of the turn. This blender has a 1.25 HP motor, which I found to be powerful enough to make smoothies daily.
PRO’s:
-Lightweight
- Built well
- Great at making smoothies
- Easy to clean
CON’s:
- Cannot make hot soups, nut butters or grinding grains
- No pulse option
SUMMARY:
Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for device like this that is portable and gets the job done.

This blender is one that I have been wanting to try for quite some time. When I came across this model I was a bit concerned initially with it only being 32 oz. but now that I have it I will say it’s more than large enough. The base feels very sturdy and the dial and plastic feel very light weight. Nothing of a concern since the power is definitely there. This unit can handle most any food and crushed ice with ease. The food plunger is also a nice feature to utilize when making my smoothies too to assure there are no hiccups in the process. All in all I would recommend bc, although it is smaller and compact, it still lives up to the superior brand name and quality.

The Vitamix One blender is a solid option for most every-day uses. The single knob for blending speed makes it very easy to use and gives it a clean look. The attachment mechanism for the pitcher isn't very secure, so definitely something to be careful about. It's great for sauces, just don't use it on anything hot. At the end of the day, it does everything you would expect a blender to do. It is however great for blending cold smoothies, so if that is mainly what you need it for, this is perfect!

Great Blender for Smoothies and Dips

I already own a Vitamix Explorian series blender and have been very happy with it. I was interested in this blender as a secondary unit, to make personal smoothies and coffee drinks.
This blender is easy to use since it only has 1 knob to increase speed. I would make sure the knob is in the off position before plugging it in, as moving the blender can inadvertently switch the blender on. If it had an on/off switch, that would help prevent this from occurring.
This blender is very capable of blending most beverages and dips, but the manufacturer warning is to not use it for nut butters, hot soups, or grinding grains. I would look for a different model if this type of use is planned.
Pros
Lightweight
Perfect size for 710ml cup (single serving)
Easy to clean
Affordable
Cons
No on/off switch
Can’t be used for nut butters, hot soup, or grinding grains
Overall, this is a fantastic blender for a single serving-sized drink or for salsa. Since it does have a few limitations, I would recommend it to be used for drinks, salsa, or dips only.

Love this little Vitamix. It doesn't mix as fast or strong as my $300 one did, but for the price, it does a great job on my protein shakes every morning.

Vitamix hit it out of the park with their new, small but mighty, ONE blender. Of course, the Vitamix name makes one expect certain things, and this machine doesn’t disappoint.
The traditional Vitamix has a 64 oz. container and a bevy of modes and presets. It’s the ultimate smoothie/margarita machine that also makes great soups and Mac & cheese. A do everything kitchen workhorse. With the ONE, Vitamix took a different course and created a smaller, powerful 32 oz. blender with ultra simple operation that still offers awesome blending power. It crushes ice like a champ and handles my wife’s spinach and green apple smoothie like a pro. Not every blender can purée nuts well. This one does.
The 32 oz container is just right for smoothies or drinks for two, and operation is simple. There is one knob. Turn it clockwise for more speed and power. Clean up is also a breeze. Rinse the container and lid, then fill the container half full with water, add a drop of soap, and blend on high speed for 20 seconds or so. Another quick rinse and you’re done.
If you want Vitamix power and quality at 1/3 the price of their full size machines, the ONE is your blender.

This is a perfect sized juicer that is very simple to use and does a fantastic job in blending, and it doesn't get very hot at all doing it so its a huge improvement over a different juicer that takes longer and gets hotter that I own.
It looks cool, is EXTREMELY simple to use and clean.
Only reason I took away one star is, Vitamix is very clear that it should not be used for hot soups or hot products so I am not disappointed in that. I do miss the ability to use variable speeds like pulse though, having that limitation of different styles of blending is probably a positive for a lot of people as some blenders get excessively complicated but I would have liked a few more speeds/styles.
Overall its perfect for someone that just wants to blend, have a healthy smoothie and isnt too worried about blending hot soups etc.

Its well known that Vitamix blenders are one of the best brands you can buy. Usually they come with a pretty steep price tag as well.
I have one of the regular Vitamix full size blenders and I have loved it. This one is no different. The One blender is a much smaller footprint, something you could easily leave out on your counter all the time.
Right out of the box there isn't a whole lot to it, which is good, cause that means its simple and easy to use! You get the base, the blender container with lid and the damper tool used to move around items in the blender while its running.
You will literally be up and running in a matter of minutes. I have found that while this obviously isn't as powerful as a full size Vitamix blender, there isn't much that this one cant do. It can easily crush ice and nuts as well as make your favorite smoothies or salsas and things like that. The only downside I have found is that it doesn't have a pulse function. But the knob is very easy and effortless to turn so you can quickly turn it on and off.
Cleanup is also a breeze. Put some water and a few drops of soap in and then put the blender on the base and run it for 10-15 seconds. Dump it out and rinse it out and you're good to go. You don't have to stick your hands in and try to manually wash the sharp blades.
This is an awesome and easy to use blender with a small footprint. Would be great for college kids, someone without a lot of counter space, even people that aren't that technically inclined that need something simple and easy to use. I think it would be a great addition to ANY kitchen!

The Vitamix One 32 oz Blender is a great blender for everyday use. The blender is much smaller than most Vitamix blenders that you may be accustomed to seeing however the price point is lower than most of the other Vitamix blenders. The blender is very simple to use as it only has one dial to operate it. The blender does a great job at blending smoothies or sauces and has no issues with crushing ice. As per the manufacturer you can not us the Vitamix one for hot soups, nut butters or grinding grains as these actions would void the 2 year warranty. The motor on this blender is quite strong however it seems as if it may fail if too much strain is placed on it.
Personally I love having the ability to keep a Vitamix on the counter that does not take up too much real estate. It had no trouble in breaking down anything I put in to my smoothie and the 32 oz container is very easy to clean. I look forward to using this everyday and hope that the blender will last as long as all of my other Vitamix products.
Anyone who is looking for an intro into the Vitamix family of blenders that can handle most tasks that are thrown at it wont be disappointed in the Vitamix One

I want to preface this review by stating I am a long-time vitamix customer and have had at least three of the full-size blenders over the past decade+. None of these have ever failed- I ended up passing one down to one of my kids and lost the other in a divorce, LOL. I still have a full-size vitamix to this day, which I use frequently for everything from salsas, marinades, soups, vinaigrettes, and, yes, frozen drinks.
The large container is sometimes more than I need, and often I feel that making only small amounts in it (I am only cooking for one or two, most often) does limit its effectiveness. When the "One" was announced, I was excited to give it a try- especially at the (relatively for vitamix) low price point. I also have a second abode that would benefit from a good blender, as well.
This thing does not disappoint. It works every bit as flawlessly as its big brothers in crushing ice, chopping parmesan or veg, making silky smooth dressings, as well as the aforementioned frozen drinks. Given the smaller size, I don't think its motor may be rated for the continuous use required to make and friction-heat soups, but it worked wonders at pureeing vegetables and autumn squash to make a silky smooth soup that I subsequently heated on the stovetop.
The controls are simple, but extremely easy to use and very responsive. There is no "pulse" button, but you can easily accomplish this with simple quick turns of the dial. I far prefer this kind of simplicity over the trend towards a dozen different "programs" on the big brother units (I only ever use those on manual, anyway). Like the big boys, cleaning is a breeze by just adding warm water and a drop of dish soap and letting it run.
So this is a smashing value, as it really is just a trimmed down vitamix in my book (which also allows it to fit under the counter much more easily). If you don't have the need to be making 50+ ounces at a time, this is perhaps the best option out there. At the very least, it is an affordable entry into the vitamix world.

Solid Blender for Most Families

If you’ve been wanting to buy a blender to make smoothies and dips, but not sure if it’s right for you, check out the Vitamix One Blender.
This is more of a “starter’ blender for a small family compared to Vitamix’s higher end models. Instead of an on/off button, a dial to set speeds and a pulse setting, the Vitamix One only has a continuous dial for increasing the blending speed. For most basic recipes this dial should be all you need.
Like all Vitamix products, this blender is solidly built and performs well. It comes with a 32-oz capacity compared to Vitamix’s larger 48-oz models. But for a couple or a small family, this blender should fill the bill. Its smaller footprint is perfect for a kitchen counter!
There are some negatives, however, none serious. This blender is not dishwasher-safe. To clean it you need to add warm water and a few drops of dish detergent and mix for 30 seconds. Then just rinse and you’re good to go!
If you want to use your Vitamix One for hot items like soups, this blender won’t do it. If you use your blender for this purpose, consider one of Vitamix’s larger models.
Vitamix offers a 2-year warranty on this blender, although their pricier models offer 5 years or more.
If you enjoy making smoothies, sauces or even frozen desserts, consider the Vitamix One. It doesn’t feature all the bells and whistles of more expensive blenders, but it could be a solid choice for most smaller families.

Quick Review
------------------
This is your smaller Vitamix blender which can compete with the bullets of the worlds. This is an interesting little blender which is more suited to making smoothies, sauces, beating ice. Note that this is not as powerful as your well known Vitamix blender and should not be compared to the Legacy models.
Overall for the price I think this is a blender you can put to daily use without consuming too much of space in kitchen and does not look industrial. Comes with a 2 year warranty.
What's in the Box
------------------------
32-ounce Container
Motor Base
Tamper
Pros
-----
1. Powerful enough to make smoothies, Puree and crushing ice.
2. Small and light weight
3. 32 Oz triton jar
4. Stainless steel blades
Cons
------
1. Not as powerful
2. Pricey for the power (why not spend $100 more and get the E310)
3. Can't make hot soup.
4. What is the power anyway, I was not able to find the wattage anywhere.
Details
----------
I have to say that the blender is very well built. I like the triton Jar, its strong and light weight. I also like the fact that it's got strong steel blades.
The base is made of plastic and of good material.
I don’t fancy the knob and I rather have a dial which clicks so I know where I am starting. The knob does not tell me that.
The blender also comes with a tamper just in case you need to tamp the ingredients down for a better mix,.. I never had the need to use it though. As long as you don’t stuff the Jar all the way to the top, you may not need to use it.
I think for this price point you would rather want to jump up to the E310 for a more powerful blender but it will come at the cost of counter space.
