Perfect sound and no sub woofer...great size for big room

... bass response is distorted. I thought the first one I bought had a blown woofer, so I exchanged it for another. It has the same problem. I recommend you pass on the Visio soundbar and buy another brand.

Selected this model for the center channel to emphasize speech. Elderly hearing impaired grandmother could’t hear/comprehend voices well, especially (female) high pitch voices. Tremendous improvement! Center channel at max volume, mid freq cut, and no subwoofer delivers clear spoken word for grandma!

This is a very average sound bar with flat response and a low sound level that turns "muddy" when increased. But it's better than my TV speakers so I decided to keep it since I got a great price. I also didn't expect much of a bass response from a soundbar with no subwoofer, but what bass it has deteriorates with volume, creating a vibrating sound. Not pleasant. I'm prompted to write this review now, 18 months after purchase, because the mediocre sounding unit has now failed. I can't say I'm unhappy because now I can replace it with something better. But a failure that soon does not speak well to its quality.

Product works well after getting it set up with my high quality smart tv.

I am only comparing this to the existing tv speakers, but it has great sound. I put it on a tv that does not have it's own sound system in the guest room and it fills that room pretty well.

Super improvement in quality of sound and ability to understand what is available to hear. Tones are more distinguishable and spoken words are more easily heard rather than mutters and mumbles.

Love this, bought because of the low price. i did not expect this to have a clear crisp sound much less a good amount of volume kick.

I purchased this for the price and it had good reviews. I got to tell you this thing is AWESOME!!!! The sound and the bass that comes out of this thing is INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend this.

Wanted a soundbar for my bedroom without the subwoofer. Installed very easily and sounds great. Also connected my bluetooth gadgets to hear them in the bedroom. Very easy to use!

Sounds OK. For the price, it does the job well. Nothing amazing or outstanding, but has good sound and after about a year, we’ve had no issues with it. The husband loves to connect his phone to it, added bonus.

Sound is greatly improved over the speakers on my TV, however the sound bar will either time out and turn off or just stop playing sound randomly. Doesn’t happen often but annoying when it does.

VIZIO keeps surprising with their high quality products with one of the most competitive prices in the market. The packaging never disappoints. The audio quality is amazing for a 2.5 arrange. Best thing about VIZIO is all type of cables are always included in the box .

We upgraded from a previous Visio soundbar to get ARC so we could use our Roku remote (versus having multiple remotes) to control the TV sound. Works great! Nice sound.
