This tv is great!! Clear picture, loud speakers. Chromecast built in is AMAZING!!! The best feature. You can cast something to the tv without it being on, or on the right input. Also the app to control the tv works flawlessly.

This TV is great for a gaming console for someone not looking to spend a crazy amount of money. The remote for the TV reminds me of some of the stereo systems back in the late '90s (not a whole lot of function), but you can use your smart phone with an app to use all the features. I am only using the TV for my Xbox1, so I think its a great deal for what I need it for.

Like this for the bedroom or other secondary room. Sound is fine considering thin design. Picture is clear and sharp. Would have liked 1 additional HDMI connection. Noticed the USB port doesn’t provide power to a device like an Amazon Fire stick. Changing the clock and other features is limited. And not as intuitive.

We purchased this TV for our family room with sports in mind and it does a great job. We didn't need a lot of bells and whistles, just good picture and sound. This delivers both, without a lot of things we didn't want or need. The Google function isn't required for basic set-up. My only negative would be adjusting settings, which is a little cumbersome.

Pleasantly surprised. Bought this tv for son who is likely to play games more than watch tv. Quality is good for gaming as well as movies. VCast had a small learning curve but is a great introduction to the smart tv trend. Overall, very happy with the quality for the price.

I had the TV for 3 days, and I had to reset it every day to get the channels to display using the TV input. Every morning the screen would display “NO Signal”. I would unplug the TV, then plug it back in again and it would work fine. That was one problem. The second was that I had to spend time skipping all the channels I did not want to display. Once you unplugged the TV, you would lose all the settings. Another problem was the Netflix. I only used a wired connection to the TV, and I often had to try several times to get Netflix’s to display. Lastly, the remote is useless. You really need to use your phone or tablet to perform functions like sleep timer. The only good thing was the picture quality and price. I guess I got what I paid for.

This t.v. is very good for the price. I bought 2 cause it's football season!

We bought this "open box" for a great price and it fit right into our bedroom TV cabinet. The picture is amazing. The only quibble I have is the sounds is not the best. We have an extra surround sound system we are going to hook up to it, so no worries on that. I would highly recommend external speakers if you buy this, though.

I'm enjoying my new TV! It's clear and the smartcast is amazing, which I use the most. I actually like the updated version of the remote because it's more streamlined. Any intricate functions that I want to use I do from my phone. Love love love it!

So I have not shopped for a TV in a long time. The choices were a bit overwhelming to say the least. My Vizio 40 inch is perfect. I live in a 700 sq foot condo and perfect for the space. Great picture quality, easy to set up, what else can I say. Perfect

Very nice tv for the price. Most other tv's in this range only had 60hz, this one has 120hz, which I wanted. Chrome Cast works well with my devices. Remote is a bit lacking but I think they are looking to push customers to use the app.

I wanted to upgrade to a smart TV. My old Vizio TV was about 9 years old and I never had an issue with it. So I wanted to stick with the Vizio brand. This TV is easy to hook up, I did it myself with minimal effort. The Chromecast is still a bit confusing to me, but I'm getting there. Overall it's great!

very easy process as I had it picked up at another store. the TV is easy to use with very good instructions. Although not on a swivel, the TV was the exact size I needed. As with other Vizio products I have bought, the picture is very good. I recommend. Also, the best buy prices was the best I could find.

The Vizio brand continues to impress. This is a quality TV, with a good picture and higher refresh rate that impresses. Not a fan of the simplified remote though, would like to have a regular remote in addition to Vizio's app's.

Vizio 40" Class, 1080p - Smart LED HDTV works great and is easy to set up and use. The app for Apple iPhone and iPad is very convenient to search programs and movies. The picture quality is very good. Great value TV.

The picture quality and brightness on this set is great for the price. The software is fairly intuitive and the smart TV features are good. The model is extremely light and is great for a bedroom TV.

This is a great, affordable television! Good hardware look to it as well. The Smart TV features (Chromecast Built-in) on it are awesome and very useful. The only issue though seems to be related to the stability of the built-in Chromecast. I should be weary of "built-in" software, as I was, but I just couldn't find a better deal for the screen size and resolution as I did with this model (I bought the 40 inch). There are several moments where it does not work as expected; even where a full factory reset is needed to establish "cast" connection. This is a nuisance but at least one can always buy smart TV HDMI add-ons (Chromecast dongle, Apple TV, Roku, etc.) and problem solved. It would just be ideal if the built-in Chromecast worked at least 90% of the time. But who am I to say... my Chromecast on a different TV doesn't work perfectly all the time either so maybe it's a Chromecast issue and not the Vizio's. Nonetheless, this is a great TV for the price and size!
