Great picture quality, easy set up, super easy integration with your IPhone, you just set up the wifi network and start enjoying everything you see on your phone screen on the tv screen, apps work flawlessly, youtube, netflix. Incredible value for the price, for $270 you can’t go wrong with this 43” monitor. Only little flaw is the low sound level, not loud enough but that is expected from every tv anyway, not too slim either but again, you can’t beat the deal.

Awesome TV for a great price. I did a lot of research for a 43” TV for a bedroom, and I kept coming back to this one (I really wanted the thinner, quantum dot M series but Vizio stopped making it in the 43” size). All the reviews rated TCL higher than Vizio, but after reading about possible security flaws in TCL TV’s that allow for them to be hacked, I stopped looking. The picture quality on this is awesome. The HDMI 2.1 and Dolby Vision, and factory calibration sold me. This TV is 1/3 of the cost of my 2012 Panasonic ST50 plasma, which was top rated at the time, and has a better picture in dark scenes with the factory calibration compared to my Geek Squad calibrated Panasonic. It’s honesty a bit too large for the bedroom, a 32” would have been perfect but I’m very happy with the purchase.

I wish there was an option for a half star rating because I would definitely rate this TV as a 3.5. The biggest negative is the picture quality when watching content via YouTubeTV (my primary use). The picture quality is just okay and I've tried about 15 different settings to try and improve the picture. No matter what I do the picture remains average. I have noticed it looks a lot better at night when the room is dark, and it also seems to handle bright scenes much better than scenes with average natural light. Out of curiosity, I found some 4K content on YouTube and the picture looked great. Very, very good so I'm suspicious the issue is with how the TV is handling upscaling with the built-in apps. I have also have an XBox set up to this TV and those games look good as well - no complaints. All of the other features are positive - SmartCast is significantly faster and more responsive than the older version, Airplay and Google Assistant work well although it took awhile to get that one working, and there is plenty of HDMI connections to choose from. This TV was purchased as a secondary television to be used in my office. For those needs, it fits the bill. However, if you are looking at this TV as your main television and you plan to watch a lot of standard HD content, I would consider other alternatives. I have two Samsungs (Series 6 and Series 7) and both of them have a MUCH BETTER picture quality when viewing non-4K content.

Bought this a few months back to replace an older Vizio that was past it's prime. It was fantastic with all of the apps AND a ton of free channels you could watch anytime! My middle son saw the majestic capabilities and began his plot of ruination. He may only be 2 years old, but he uses an unsuspecting and often times adorably endearing appearance to cloak his dastardly deeds. I had received an email inquiry from Vizio asking about my experience thus far at 11:20 AM. He could sense my interest but knew I would likely ignore the email along with the 92,310 other unread emails in my folders. His moment to "carpe tv-iem" was impending. He had to act. By 11:22 AM, he had successfully vanquished the villainous antagonist. Thanks to a rogue empty bottle that had been propelled at rocket speed, the screen playing Little Mermaid was left split in two. The irony of Ariel singing as the moment it happened happened and me being a redhead is not lost on me. I believe that this was his declaration of war on gingers. If you want to help combat the efforts of this tyrannical subversion of the matriarchy, start today. Replace the the very TV was not allowed to continue bringing joy to our family. Seriously. Please. I think he thinks he is winning now. And he may have swayed the 1 year old to join his ranks.

Crisp and clear picture. The tech who installed the TV overcame a technical problem and wall- mounted the TV and gave me so much more shelf room on the dresser. Excellent job all around!

It’s a smaller screen than I wanted but that’s my fault. I like it. For an inexpensive flat screen it sounds good, picture quality is good. Takes a few seconds to boot up when turning it on, but that’s to be expected with an inexpensive until. Very happy with this as it replaced a Samsung that was starting show its age With a weird refreshing rate flicker that wold happen about 3 times a day.

1 Year later and replacing the TV because I cannot put up with it anymore. Feature set is great. It is supposed to have everything I wanted, but it is not a stable product. The HDMI signal drops out for about 30-60 seconds ever few minutes, sometimes about every 2 minutes. The low light detection is buggy causing the the top or bottom of the screen to flash back and forth in brightness. The TV regularly sets the internal speaker to off. The blacks are gray, and the reds at times are I don't know what.

Easy to setup and impressed with the quality and the options you get with being able to customize your experience. user interface is simple and well organized and was quick to find my way around. I use it for gaming on my XBOX ONE X and hooking up my acer laptop for designing and the depth of color and quality, exceed all expectations. The processor built in makes it smooth and streamlined when going through the smart features and apps. Will update my review in a few months to share any new thoughts if any. If you are on the edge about this tv, I would absolutely recommend it and for the price you still feel as though you are getting fantastic quality. The only things that may be issues with some is that the tv is a little thicker than expected but is not an issue for myself and also the usb connection is only 2.0. Everything else is up to par

Great Picture in a Small Format Screen

This is the latest V-Series for Vizio, and they have somehow managed to fit a really great picture into a small format screen. They have also included HDMI 2.1 features in this entry-level model, while manufacturers of similar-sized 4K TVs costing much more have stuck to HDMI 2.0 for 2020. The picture out of the box is decent if you stick to the factory calibrated modes, though you do have plenty of options to improve the quality of the picture yourself thanks to the built-in test patterns and various optimization controls. The only negative for me was that the unit only has 3 HDMI inputs; with the arrival of the next-gen gaming consoles later this year, I feel 4 would've been ideal.

We didn’t have room for a huge tv but this is best of both worlds being the 43”. Great picture and pretty easy for me to set up. Currently we don’t have it hooked up to wifi. Only to cable. So I’m not sure how easily the smart technology works. Looks pretty straightforward. I did find it easy to skip the wifi setup step when it asked on initial setup page on screen.

I had a little trouble setting it up to my liking, but the picture is very good. I bought it because of the store employee's recommendation, because the ones I had intended to buy were ALL out of stock, or, as I was told, not as good as I thought. But, as I said, the picture is very good, My main area of disappointment, partly my fault, was the "feet" that it sits on. I should have thought of it, but I hadn't intended to buy this brand. This TV is wider than my prior one. The prior one sat on a little stand in the MIDDLE. This one has feet near each end. My TV/VCR/DVD cart was NOT wide enough, so the feet stuck out on each side. I had to redo my cart. Now that that's done, I am satisfied, since, as a said the picture is very good. Just make sure you check to see if the TV will sit on your TV/VCR/DVD cart.

Great entry level tv if you want good contrast and color. Even has Dolby Vision. Not the best for viewing from angles but no tv can compete with an Oled for angle viewing. You do want to calibrate it for the best picture. Great tv for my high school.
