Poor Quality Screen from the side. Out of Focus.

Not a very good TV because the sound is not good; the TV can not be seen from the side very well ( not sharp or focused ). The viewing angle cannot always be straight on. At what angle does it go out of focus ? I did not find this out in the First 2 weeks because I did not use it or I would send or take it back to Best Buy in Athens , GA.

Hello TomE, as televisions continue to have larger screens with thinner profiles and sleeker bezels, there is less room for large speakers. To help get the best audio quality out of your VIZIO televisions speakers, we’ve included settings like DTS Studio Sound to provide the highest performance possible, while maintaining the thin, sleek, bezel-less profile of your television. If you’d like any help adjusting your audio settings feel free to contact VIZIO support at 844-254-8087.  For top of the line audio performance, you may also look into purchasing a VIZIO Sound Bar, there are several models available with wireless subwoofers for enhanced bass, rear speakers for true surround sound, and our new line of Atmos Sound Bars. In regards to your picture settings, to make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference. VIZIO

Worst tv ever. Turns itself off, changes channels by itself. Took the batteries out of the remote during movies and it still does it. All started 2 weeks after the returnable period ended but it’s still only months old. Waste of money.

The connectivity on the TV is a constant problem. There is also no Bluetooth which seems ridiculous in this day and time. But the primary problem is it will not stay connected to any wireless source. Back to Samsung for me.

After a few hours of use, over a period of a couple of weeks, the TV seems to have intermittent electronic glitches. We haven't had any problems in the last few days but electronics should be more stable than this.

I only bought this to increase the refresh rate over my current display. It advertises as 120HZ and there's nothing on the Visio web page that says any different. Still at 30 hz when running UHD . . .

      Hello,

Thank you for your purchase and your review. The native refresh rate does NOT fully describe the TV’s motion clarity technology. The “open cell” or “native” refresh rate describes only the glass panel’s ability to refresh the image on the screen, without taking into account the benefit of the scanning backlight. The “native” refresh rate for this TV is 60. VIZIO’s TVs have a Dynamic Motion Rate, which better describes the TV’s ability to achieve motion clarity through the use of its glass panel and scanning backlight. The Dynamic Motion Rate for this TV is 120. VIZIO

Hello LGLover, as televisions continue to have larger screens with thinner profiles and sleeker bezels, there is less room for large speakers. VIZIO
