This is my second Vizio 43" TV, which should tell you my opinion. Vizio TVs have one of the clearest and brightest pictures w/o causing any strain on your eyes, and these factors are what make Vizio TVs the best, imo. They offer an extremely vivid picture at great prices. Before I decided to go with another Vizio (this one), I tried an LG, Samsung and a Sony and returned them all within a week. All of those TVs were between $100-300 more than this TV. To me, this TV took first place in terms of sound, software, user interface, the remote control and inputs, and I would've give this TV either first or second place for picture quality. If I don't count the eye strain those other 3 TVs caused me to experience within a matter of minutes, I would give this TV second place, but if I take into consideration that I can't even look at those screens for more than 3-5 minutes w/o my eyes aching, of course I would have to give this TV first place. Bottom line, this is a really great TV at a super low price that is as good and really better than TVs that cost twice as much. I wouldn't waste my money on any of those other brands I mentioned. Just go with a Vizio. The only con is that color, contrast and brightness fade when watching at an angle, but you only notice it if you are watching from center and then move your body to the left or to the right so that you are off center, and honestly, it still looks good even when viewing on an angle, but if you go too far (45 degrees or more) then picture quality does fade on this site, but what do you expect w/o having ISP.

This tv isn't worth it, I bought it for the use of running an Xbox on and the picture quality is horrible. I have tried a lot of settings with the picture quality and they all either show up to dark or to light and looks ashy. The TV picture frequently just goes black and you need to do a power cycle. The audio sometimes doesn't work and you need to mess around with it, and sometimes the TV will just randomly turn itself on for no reason.

Just a genuinely bad TV. The picture is fine, that's the best I can say, but I wasn't expecting anything special. The layout/User Experience of Vizio's smart platform is wildly unintuitive, cluttered, and hard to navigate. It's great that it has AirPlay and Chromecast built in, but neither of those functions have worked successfully for me, which is probably a result of my biggest complaint: internet connectivity. It just will not stay connected. I have to reconnect and re-enter my wifi password at least 4 times a day, and that's on a good day. I can see this TV maybe being a good choice for someone who doesn't care too much about a fancy screen, doesn't play video games, lives completely alone, and is the only person connected to their wifi, as it seems the existence of even another device connected to the same wifi is too much for this TV. My biggest regret is letting the very nice Best Buy employee convince me to get it. He DID convince me to get this one as opposed to the TV I went in for, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were just desperate to get this cursed model as far away from their store as possible. He deserves a raise for keeping a straight face while recommending this TV to me after I told him my biggest concern was a crappy internet connection.

I do not recommend vizio. My husband and I have been faithful customers of vizio but not anymore.. Purchased a tv less than 2 months ago. Barely falls and has a cracked screen. Barely any force. Call them and all they can do is offer 20% off to purchase another one. Guys please invest your money else where. If you go on facebook market place you will see tons of vizio tvs with busted screens. Customer service stinks. You would think they would have at least offered me a refurbished one.. Check amazons reviews nd you will see a ton of tvs with cracked screens.

Owned this less than a month and I gently laid it on its face on a carpet floor to plug in another cable to the back. Placed it back on tv stand and the screen was cracked with black and white lines all over. Most fragile screen I have ever seen. Unacceptable

I’d give it lower than a 1star if possible. Constant popping with the sound no matter what settings the tv is on. Better off watching a movie on a 15inch basic tv.
