Do not have to pay a t lot To have the best TV. This images are truly amazing. Have a lot of features and the price is the best deal ever. Just the Best Buy Stand and is the best from for my family. Now to buy a better phone for the best photo. Do not blame the TV is my cheap camera, lol

This "home theater display" (not technically a television as it doesn't have a tuner, which is the coax input typically from the wall) has an amazing 4K display and operates nicely with my phone as the remote control. I would give it 5 stars but it has become unresponsive to both the app and the remote that certain with it and wouldn't turn on until I pulled the plug and plugged it back in while in Eco power mode. I've recently switched to instant on power mode so I can turn it on from the app and haven't seen the bug since but there hasn't been enough time for me to say for sure. Setup was also a little irritating and took a couple of tries to link the mobile app with the display but after it works you never have to deal with it again. Definitely worth it as its half the cost of a similar 4K smart TV from competitors.

Have absolutely love this TV could not have made a better choice.

It's our first big flat screen TV and we're enjoying it very much. Sure beats the huge projection TV it replaced! Easy to operate.

Had a 55" tv delivered for a early Christmas present. The salesperson said that the people delivering would remove it out of the box to confirm it was delivered in good shape. It was delivered 2hrs pasted the delivery window and noticed that the box was damaged a little. When I asked them if they were going to unpack it they said no, that they only deliver and left quickly. I unpacked it today to discover that the screen is cracked. I been on my cell phone for over an hour now trying to reach customer service! Not at all a happy Christmas camper!!!

Didn't expect it is good for the brand itself resolution and picture quality is great the only down side that I am seeing is the remote itself and you can't modify brightness and contrast because it is already limited to set its own by choosing from Dynamic to Gaming mode but who is using it anyway? It has built in chrome cast which is better than having smart tv where you can't update the built in apps.

I purchased this tv as a gift for my mom. I looked for a 55 inch 4K tv all over and decided on this one based on the value. I think Vizio is a solid tv manufacturer. This tv definitely fit exactly what my mom was looking for and then some. Picture quality seems pretty good to our untrained eyes (it isn't as good as my Samsung UHD tv, but it isn't a striking difference in my opinion). The features are pretty standard, but again, its exactly all my mother needed in a tv. My only complaint, and it still bothers me a good deal, is the remote control. The remote that is packaged with this tv is absolutely the most terrible remote I've even encountered. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but Vizio tried to go for the "cool looking, Apple-esque" remote. However, its painstakingly missing so many normal button functions on a basic remote. Its so frustrating to use. I have no idea why Vizio decided to change from their extremely useful Keyboard remote. So based on the garbage remote, I decided to give this tv a 4 star rating based on the quality and the value.

An electrical storm fried my old Samsung 40" TV and my admittedly old surge protector. So I was looking for a larger TV quickly and trying not to spend a ton of money. This Vizio fit the bill perfectly. For the price you really can't beat the picture quality and size. It is adjustable to a very natural looking picture, not as synthetic as some TV image processing. Some might think that relying on Google Cast for its smart TV capabilities is a negative. For me it isn't. I was using Chromecast on my previous TV so the transition was pretty seamless. There is just on issue this TV has that could be worked out in future firmware upgrades. Occasionally while using the Cast feature the TV will completely freeze then shut itself off. It resets and 5 minutes later you are watching TV again. Definitely a firmware bug of some kind. It isn't a deal killer, but it really shouldn't be happening. That is why I deducted a star. If they would fix the freezing issue, this would easily be a 5 start review.

With lower budget one can experience good 4K content. good rendition of the video even if it is 1080p. It will try to upscale it. Even though not HDR quality but still one feels the experience of 4K. Massive screen size with good details of every picture and video and easy to use interface for switching between inputs. Some issues with the sound-bar connectivity for the inbuilt chromecast.

Was looking for a really nice tv that was inexpensive for what you were getting. This tv is so nice. I use my smartphone with the app to turn on/off my tv, adjust the volume and play Netflix. It's easy to use and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I have had this TV for a couple of weeks now, and have no complaints. The size is good for a living/family room setup. The quality is great, although I have not watched anything of 4K quality on the TV yet, it can only get better :) Be advised this is a home theater TV meaning there are no coax hookups on the TV for traditional cable. There are other options to get television such as wireless boxes if your provider carries them. This is a great deal for a TV of this quality as long as you are a person who does not mind too much about the brand. Bonus to have the chromecast built in, although it is inexpensive to purchase one outside but I guess saves one less thing plugged in to the TV!

After a year of owning this TV, I can safely say it is excellent. I game, stream and watch HD movies all in great looking 4K.

This would be 5 stars if it came with a better remote. Other than that, amazing picture quality and features, this is just a beautiful TV!

Excellent picture, ease of use perfect size. Was really easy to mount.

The picture quality is good and competitive at this price. The remote has very few control functions and I rate it very poor. (You are expected to use a cell phone or tablet.) The "theater display" has no internal tuner, which in my case required me to connect an external tuner. I guess that I should have realized this since it is called a "theater display" and not a tv. Buyer beware.

I wanted a smart TV and have had VIZIO tvs prior to this one; however, I was expecting a TV that allowed you to scroll through apps and have access to Netflix and Hulu but that's not what this TV is. It has googlecast so you can cast videos or apps from your phone onto the TV screen without having a Blu-ray player or Xbox, etc. Overall it has a great picture and it's very easy to use if you follow the setup instructions.

Upgraded to this tv from my old 42". The 4K is amazing! Only complaints I have is that the built in chrome cast disconnects when I turn the tv off and I have to mess with it to get it to reconnect. I just use my Xbox S now. The second thing is that there is no menu button on the remote. You have to download the app and even then you don't have full control over the tv settings. Other than those minor things, this is a great tv.

Over all great tv w/ quality picture, down side no built in tuner and the remote control is fragile

This is an excellent tv especially considering the price. The color is crisp and clean. The pixels man everything unbelievably clear. I know the basics when it comes to tv's but I highly recommend this one.
