The Vizio UHD TV was very easy to set up. The default settings are decent and it was easy to figure out how to make the required changes to make this a great viewing experience. For the price it is an excellent deal, i would buy another one of these !!!

I read a lot of reviews before my purchase. I don't regret getting this TV. I used the settings that one of the reviewers posted on here. They made the picture look awesome. The 4K material on Netflix and Amazon Prime is exceptional. The price was perfect for my budget. I had my last Vizio for 5 years. I look forward to this one for the next 5 years. Buy it you will be happy

This tv has been great so far, few little quirks and needs picture calibration, but great picture (can't wait for more 4K it's awesome). Regular hi def is great as well. Sound is okay. This tv for the price is awesome, obviously ou could go all out and get OLED or curved, but NOT FOR THIS PRICE. I'm happy with it.

Great picture. Crisp colors & great value for competitors product value

We read many reviews about HDTVs before making our purchase. Originally we were considering the more expensive Samsung 55". Decided to save a little $$ and go with Vizio, since there currently isn't a lot of 4k programming available anyway. Very happy with this TV. Picture is crisp and clear. Watching sports the picture is clear, no blur. We set it up ourselves and were able to hook up a receiver, Blu Ray and cable box with no issues. Once we had everything hooked up, we adjusted the picture settings for the room the TV is in. Adjustments are easily done with the remote. NOTE: When we first hooked up our FIOS cable, we used the existing (non-HDMI) cable. The picture was good, but not really any better that what we had before. We picked up an HDMI cable the next day...what a difference! GET THE HDMI CABLE!

I had already done a ton of research on tv for the holiday season. Cnet raited this tv highly cause of its technology and price. I recently got the tv and couldnt be happier. Got a vizio sound bar although i didnt need it , altogether its like having a movie theatre in my bedroom.

I purchased this TV several weeks ago before the Super Bowl. Although the lower resolution programming on satellite is a bit ugly, the 1080p and 4K content I have viewed on this device has been amazing! For the money, you won't find a better 4K TV on the market.

This TV has an amazing picture. For being a 4K Ultra HD TV the price is also unbeatable. Most competitors TVs of the same specifications are close to being at least $200 more than this one. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get a new television.

The TV is great. The picture and the sound are stunning even without viewing a 4K show. Speaking of 4K, be sure your Wi-Fi signal will supply at least 25Mbps to the area where you mount your TV. Without 25 Mbps you cannot view in 4K. I bought a new dual band router and still only pull 5 to 9 Mbps because the TV is one floor below. Also, don't use the Geek Squad unless absolutely necessary. I paid $249 for delivery and installation and went through the worst customer service one could ever imagine, Best Buy uses third party contractors. They cancelled the original appointment for Tuesday late in the afternoon on Monday, Rescheduled for Wednesday between 8-12. Never showed or called. We called and they said they would be out Thursday. Again no show, no call. Then they said they cannot come out on Friday, how about Saturday between 8-12? They called Friday night and said they could not come on Saturday. We exploded and spoke supervisor. He said they would be here Saturday. They showed up with an installer and trainee. The installer had some kind of attitude. After a discussion with me, he apologized and said he had a headache. They were in a hurry to get in and out and did little as far as explaining how to work the remote, TV and Blu-Ray player. I will never use the Geek Squad again! Worst customer service ever!!!!! They did nothing I could not have done myself and I would have saved the $249, which I primarily spent for the education of how to work everything. If you use the Geek Squad you may experience the same disappointing service. Heed this warning. I rate the TV five stars and the Geek Squad zero stars.

Had a Panasonic plasma TV that died on me for the 2nd time so I figured it was time to replace it. Did some quick research online for TVs and came across this Vizio. Seemed like the reviews were good and the price was outstanding. Overall, it's a good TV with the features you need/want and the picture is pretty good. However, the picture is best when viewed straight on and it starts to lose its sharpness/quality when you move away from center. I've tried every adjustment, etc. to make it better and you just can't. So, if this TV will be used in a room where viewers might be more than 20 or 30 degrees off center, I'd look for another TV. If, however, you're going to basically be straight on and you're looking for an inexpensive, 4K TV, this is a pretty good choice.

This TV is awesome! The picture is great! Netflix movies are 4K and the difference is unbelievable! Seeing the difference, in the store of a regular TV vs this 4K TV, really made a difference. So glad I went on and decided to go w/this 4K Smart TV. Set-up was very quick and easy. I'd highly recommend this TV. I love it!

I was thinking about going with the Samsung, but so glad I saved hundreds . This tv rocks , blurays look unimaginable. 4K is what you need !

After researching online for a few 4k TVs I ended up going with m55-c2. The picture quality is great, 4k looks so amazing. Things to note: 1. Picture is pretty bad out of the box. You will be disappointed if you simply plug it and start watching. You will see Opera effect. 2. Google M55-C2 settings and tweak them as per the standard settings. I tweaked mine for about 30 mins before picture looked great. 3. Size is pretty great, I sit about 5-6 feet from the TV and it looks amazing. Netflix 4K is pretty awesome (Be prepared to pay $11.99 for 4k content) 4. Sound from the TV is alright. Invest in a good 5.1 soundbar or speaker system. 5. In-built apps are great. VUDU recognizes this TV and you are able to play 4K UHD movies from VUDU ($25 per movie, kinda expensive with limited content. Stick to Netflix for UHD experience)

Took the TV out of the Box and had no problems setting it up.. These TV's require you to properly configure them. Anybody who thinks that you an just plug it in and make no adjustments is mistaken. The color had to be adjusted, but I am very happy with the TV. Lots of options, but read the directions.

The VIZIO M series 55" Smart TV is a really nice TV as long as you can watch it without being at much of an angle. The picture fades out quickly at angles. My friend has a Samsung that has no fade out at any angle and I now wish I had spent a little more for the Samsung. However, if not at much of an angle it has a very nice picture and I found the sound to be very good. I also really like the remote which has buttons for Netflix, Amazon and Iheart radio media. Just press one button and you are connected to Netflix or Amazon. That has made watching media on these resources very easy and I find myself watching more of them. The remote also has a complete keyboard on the underside which is handy entering passwords and other info. I would not recommend this TV if viewing at an angle such as watching from a sectional sofa (L shape) with loungers at each end but would recommend it if that is not an issue.

Finally got rid of the old tube tv ! Great quality tv. Great purchase . Would recommend to anyone. There are Netflix and Amazon buttons right on the remote! I

The TV is a great introductory 4K TV for the price, the picture, the remote and operations are very good. Really my only complaint for this set is the lack of an Internet Browser, all Smart TVs these days should be equipped with this simple app. I do have an Internet browser on my Samsung Blu-Ray so it's not really an issue

Very pleased with purchase. Same experience as others buyers stated on reviews I read. Picture is 5 star. Audio is 3. Otherwise I would have rated a 5. I will purchase a Vizeo sound bar to remed. If you have to contact Customer Service you'll be very pleased. They are U.S. based, and well trained, and great to deal with. For those who don't know, only Direct TV broadcasts 4K. To get it you must purchase a $200 Genie receiver. Currently only a few movies are available in 4K, but the ultra HD is a great picture on their standard HD receivers. Note that the top port is for future use l, and dies not work with the standard HD receiver. It's a 60 HZ port. Use one of the 30 HZ ports till technology catches up with the TV.

It is our first TV and for this price we just love it. Beautiful picture quality and exterior design. Though 4K is not often used due to very few sources, the upscaling of 1080p performs perfectly and gives definitely a better experience than FHD TVs. Full keyboard on the remoter is very helpful.

Love this TV and would recommend it to anyone. No motion-blur, super black blacks. So pretty you'll even find yourself watching the commercials, and movies will knock your socks off.
