Great tv with built in Chromecast. Looking forward to watching things in 4K Ultra HD!

Kind of a pain that the remote isn't that useful and they want you to use the app

We purchased this TV for one of our conference rooms. The picture on the TV is fantastic and provides good quality presentations and spreadsheet viewing. The main issue that we have experienced is the TV requires a smartphone or tablet to set up and properly control. The supplied remote is basically useless for anything other than turning the TV On/Off. Even getting the TV connected to a network was difficult as the MAC address is not available anywhere except once you have the TV already connected to a network. Since our networks are secured, the MAC address is required to allow it to join a network. We had to set up an old wireless router that was independent from our normal network just to get the setup completed. While we were hoping to utilize Smartcast to allow wireless presentations, this has been too cumbersome to allow us to use it for that purpose. We are still looking at other alternatives to allow presentations to be made as seamlessly as possible. For future conference room needs, we will most likely look at other TVs that are easier to use.

I had considered the Vizio, Sony and Samsung in the same class of display. I went with the Vizio after some reviews and I am not disappointed. The ability to connect to my smart phone and built in Chromcast is great.

Like the TV, but having to use my phone as the remote is a little irritating.

When shopping for a TV, I wasn't told about the Googe aspect of the TV. No built in apps, so everything has to be casted from a phone or tablet. However, I got a new goggle phone and I am very happy with how they interact together. My wife has an iPhone and she has some difficulty and limitations on what she can cast. I would recommend this TV depending on how you want to use it.

Big fan of vizio tv, quality and performance is as good as more expensive Samsung. Was gonna buy newer 4K tv online but glad I went to store and looked at tv saved $1000. Sound much better than rest
