This is possibly the worst remote control ever made for a television. They want you to use your phone as a remote control. I am 34 and still don't want to use my phone as a remote control. So it's not an old person rating this television with 3 stars. Setup was reasonably difficult for me. I can't imagine my parents trying to set this thing up.

The TV needs to be programmed by downloading an App. The App is lousy. Don't buy this Visio! Pay a little more and get a Samsung or something. The remote is an absolute useless joke.

Posted .Thanks for the feedback. While not every content provider has 4K programming available, you may be able to cast 4K from applications like Netflix, VUDU, and others. To make sure you're getting the best picture possible, we recommend using an HDMI cable connected to an HD device (like cable or satellite set top box). You can also adjust advanced display settings like brightness, backlight, and color by downloading the VIZIO SmartCast app to a compatible Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.
