screen wavy on left side , now and then I get blue pixels on right half of screen ( have to turn off let it reboot , turn back on). Remote has limited functions, can not zoom on most movies , last TV option available. And like most flat screens the volume is poor, speaker face rear. will never buy this type of unit again.

Biggest complaint with this tv is the lack of a full remote control. Have to use smart phone to control the TV for the majority of the features.

I had the insurance so when my 1st 70" Vizio went out in 2.5 years I replaced it with this one. After this one went out in 2.5 years I still had insurance but now went to 75" Samsung. HOPING this one will last.....still have the Insurance. Better get it! Vizio Not recommended.

This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark.

Sorry it the Display is not what you were expecting. That's not the experience we'd like our customers to have. You only need to Download the VIZIO SmartCast App, and use a smartphone or tablet if you'd like to use internet apps. Using the IR remote included with the display, you can skip through the setup and control basic functions like volume, input selection and power.

- Sept 16th, Vizio 70' arrvives broken
- Geek squad attempts to come back but can't come until 6th October with replacement unit
- October 6th: geek squad misses the appointment window
- Can't reschedule until October 17th
- I am still waiting and nobody calls me with updates or can tell me wtf is going on!
- I was assured by a Best Buy rep that she was dealing with the matter with the highest level of priority yet she has now disappeared of the radar - typical!

I have gone through (2) 70" Vizio TV's in the past 4 years. right around year 2, they both start to develop black areas across the screen. I attempted to call Vizio directly to discuss reliability, and they assured me their TV's were the most reliable out there, and that i was most likely my fault that my TV's were developing black areas on the screen due to running the TV's for too long. What a horrible company. I would recommend paying a little bit more for a MUCH MORE RELIABLE PRODUCT. Stay away from VIZIO.

TV Failed After 20 Months of Use

Blue tint appeared after roughly 20 months of usage. Purchased on 10/10/2016. Stopped working May of 2018. $1,300 purchase and Vizio would not even consider replacing the defective product. Only has a 1 year warranty apparently even for defective electronics. Vizio support offered a discount on future purchase, but doesn't really make sense to buy another one if it's just going to stop working after a short period of time. I've had much better luck with lesser known brands. TCL Units bought at the same time are still going strong.

After just a few days a wide gray stripe showed up right in the middle of the screen! Although they did replace it, it was still a pain in the butt! And chrom cast is the worst thing ever !!

This was actually the worst TV that I have my sharp Quattron and 70 is has a much better picture the picture in his Visio look washed out wouldn't recommend it to anybody bypass it if you see it in the store
