It is capable of multiple connections, which include WiFi, Bluetooth, and Auxiliary input. It is also Google Assistant capable, thus allowing voice control when the device is setup in the Google Home Application. Setup is fairly easy, however, the Vizio Smartcast Application needs some work. The Google Home Application responds much faster and is more reliable and stable than the Vizio Smartcast Application. The Vizio Smartcast Application is, however, required to setup the speaker. I am very pleased with my purchase!

The sound quality on the other hand, FANTASTIC! But again, as a wifi-stream device, not reliable at all. If planning to use as a bluetooth speaker, be my guest. Google Chromecast, nope.

This is the reason i bought them so i could hear the tv in other rooms or even outside. Hopefully vizio can make an update that will fix this

Poor google cast connectivity

Their sound bars are very good at always being ready for something to be thrown at it. I'll often have to toggle inputs, etc, in order for it to be recognized by a fast enabled device. Sound wise, it's great for the size. Would not reccomend if casting is going to be your main purpose for it.

After paring with my galaxy phone, I saw it working as my expectation. Now I am using it and can recommend to my friends and family whoever I know.
