Could’ve had more input methods other than just Bluetooth. Quality bass, decent treble, misses voice and midrange.

And the only way you can get sound out of the thing is by "casting" and setting it up via the TERRIBLE Vizio app. It doesn't work most of the time. At others is starts playing randomly (like in the middle of the night). Many apps won't cast to it. Heck, it's even hard to turn the thing ON! Half the time the power button doesn't work. It might sound nice but, with no input of any kind and the fatally flawed software, it's basically a total failure. It LOOKS nice (although it's unbelievably heavy) and on the rare occasions it actually worked it sounded fine. But overall....BEWARE. HOURS of frustration are ahead of you if you buy this thing. It's a half-baked product that VIzio has clearly given up on. Now they're just trying to get whatever they can for them to cut their losses. Seriously, it's shocking how bad it is.

Posted .The SP70 has two different ways to play audio. You can connect it to the internet (using the VIZIO SmartCast App) and use it to 'Cast' applications to, or add to other ChromeCast speakers. You can also use the Bluetooth Mode, which doesn't require the SmartCast app, and simply bluetooth to your device. If you're still having issues with the device powering on, our customer service team would really love to help you. Surprisingly Bad

If you are able to grab this at a good price its not bad, but no where near is this worth 300$. The sound has decent bass that can reach pretty high volumes. The looks are nice and sleek and can be easily placed where it looks good. Then there comes the setup, never have I had such a hard time setting something up, bluetooth was easy but I wanted to get the full quality so you have to download the smartcast app, which is really bad. Menus are mixed but trying to set the speaker up is a nightmare. After I thought I succesfully set it up I could not cast anything to it. Only bluetooth would work. Then trying to restart it and setup again it would always get stuck at connecting to network. I dont recommend this speaker, you are better off spending the extra money for sonos.

We have several Bluetooth speakers and don’t have an issue with any but this speaker. Would definitely avoid unless you dont have many Bluetooth devices in ur house.

The sound quality is awesome. Every now and then it will have connection problems, not sure if it is my wifi or the unit itself, but as I said before. I would buy another if they go on sale again
