I purchased the SmartCast Crave Pro on sale for $70 (regular was $299 to $350) and thought that was a good deal...WRONG!!!This speaker is just BAD. it’s looks good and that is it. The sound coming out of this speaker is just NOT pleasing. Too synthesized. I tried tweaking with the sound with synthesizers and equalizers and other stuff just to make it “acceptable”...NOT GOOD. SmartCast is a joke...really.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously purchased 2 of the Visio Crave 360 speakers and saw the Crave Pro but no one had it in stock. It went on sale and I had to try it, and glad I did. It sounds amazing, great low end bass, very clear minds and highs, and better imaging than most in this class. Setup was flawless and also paired it easily to Bluetooth (some complained about the app and setup, perhaps that was on an older firmware version, it updated soon as I started the setup). I have a mix of three Visio Crave SmartCast speakers and several ChromeCast audio devices connected to stereos and sound bars through my house. I can easily cast to them all, if I want, in sync wirelessly. I looked at Sonos, but I like these better as they work with Google ChromeCast and are open to work out of any app supporting ChromeCast, you only have to use the SmartCast app to set them up the first time. It also looks awesome, so much better then any of the others I saw.
