Purchased for small work area and it works well. It heats up my space and doesn't bother others. It is louder than expected.

This fan is pretty loud, and not the dull hum of a fan loud this is mostly the sound of the blades slapping the air. I'm not even using this for what it claims to be for (I'm using it for my room but the box says it can go on your desk. They even have a photo on the back of the box showing it on a desk. @@@@@@@ That being said it's still pretty noisey even when I have my headphones on. As for the heating power it's bad for the size/noise like really bad. it's been running in a 12/10 foot room for around 3 ish hours and I'm sitting a couple feet away and I'm still getting chills blown from the fan no less. The airs able to cool off before it hits me. In as just stated a small room it's already had 3 hours to heat and it's blowing cold air on me.

First let's talk about drawbacks. It's not thermostatically controlled ie. stays on ALL the time. You can't set it to turn off at a given temperature. You set it but better not forget it. Fan is not silent. You know that it's there. Not noisy but not silent. Quiet? Depends on your definition. Some will call it white noise. But because of item 1 you might want to know it's there. Heat from fan blowing on high can be noticeably felt 9-12 inches in front of heater. After 24 inches you won't feel it directly in front but above grade. The fan only mode is much stronger but also louder. Not sure if I would use it on my desk in front of a computer. I would call this a personal heater with regards to its compact size and proximity to which you would use it. For which it deserves 3 stars.
