A bit frustrating to get the hang of this.You have to go just the right speed...but not too slow to capture the image.My Mac Air also had trouble reading the images initially,but eventually it did.Once you get the hang of it,it's worth it.The resolution is great.The micro storage doesn't come with this.The one I bought cost $16(16g).Definately wasn't necessary for me to get this large of a chip.I bought this to scan old pictures from very old photo albums.It's doing a great job.It was worth it.

Portable and easy to use... smaller and the price is less than the mainstream devised too. I got to be honest I have yet to try the mainstream product and with that said I would not speak ill of it. What I will say about this product is that it is very easy to use and I am quite happy to have made this purchase, I have a 32GB's memory card in it and I can scan a decent amount of documents and transfer them to a storage device at a later time.

If you never had a scanner before ... practice a bit with this then. Maybe it's me, but the instructions weren't totally clear. Appreciated the option of JPG or PDF & Low to High resolution. Scanner quite stable and easy to move accross the dpocument. Set-up bit confusing; manuel & inserts not clear steps 1-2-3

I am a chemistry student, and I have many, many paper charts that have been laying around my desk, creating clutter. This magic want has helped me scan my charts into my tablet, and makes studying on the go 10 times easier! Definitely recommend.

This is a great product to have. You can easily scan images or documents. Some reviews made it seem like it was very difficult to scan pictures. I find that it was very easy and came out with a nice quality. You do have to move kind of fast or it wont work at all. It does take some time to get used to it. I would also recommend trying to do a price match because I got mine almost half off.

Great portable scanner which works as described. Easy to use and I got good scans with very little practice. This is a nice addition to my flatbed/sheet feed scanner on my desktop for those times when I need to go portable. Bonus point for using 2AA batteries instead of a proprietary rechargeable battery which die after a year or so and are impossible to replace, leaving you with a worthless unit. No worries about getting AA batteries available everywhere.

It has been a life saver, but if you are looking to scan more than one page at the time this is not for you. The resolution is great, the batteries do not last too long (I have used it to scan about 100 times and my battery level is at 1 bar), but in general it is very good for the price.

Lightweight, portable, and easy to use with a little practice. It saves some money and time when trying to get research done. I would definitely recommend for others to use if they're willing to be patient and take the time to learn the best technique for getting a good scan.

Just like it's advertise, it's a magic wand type of scanner. No longer you have to go through the hassle of using the old giant scanner machines. In less than a minute of setting up the portable scanner you can be scanning twice as fast and best of all, you could take it anywhere you go. A +

It works well but wish it had better directions. Works fast and quick which was perfect!

I bought it because I needed to scan legal sized documents and my all in one printer was too small. It takes a few tries to get used to but the quality and speed is pretty good when you get used to it. It takes more time than a scanner with a feeder but it can be a decent substitute for the price.

I tried to use this as a full-page scanner to scan my many bills. Unfortunately there are some drawbacks to using a device like this. 1. The paper doesn't stay still when scanning. 2. It's difficult to perfectly line up the document for a full-page scan. 3. There is no concept of multi-page document. All the scans end up as individual pages. 4. The pages all end up on the card with nothing sent to the computer until you connect. You can't tell if you got a good scan until you scan, connect, and review. This is very tedious. I'm going to have to look for another sheet-fed scanner to scan my bills.

Great tool/ toy for the money. Easy to set up and use. Fast. I took small photos from 1930 and was shocked at the wonderful results I got with just cropping. Very satisfied.

This is a great scanner for on the go. It is easy to use and produces a very clear image even if the item being scanned moves or the scanner is shaken in the scanning process. Very pleased!

After reading the reviews I decided it was worth trying as I have been scanning all my old pictures. Very easy to use and the scans look good, easier than using the scanner on printer.

I really like this scanner. It does a very good job. You just have to be very carefully that you keep it straight and in line with what you are scanning so that it isn't crooked.

Works well for scanning papers and photos. Hand needs to be a bit steady but scanner is also somewhat forgiving when scanning documents.
