Customers highly value the Intuos Art Creative Medium Pen and Touch Tablet's ease of use and its suitability for drawing, with many praising its intuitive design and quality. Positive feedback also highlights the pressure sensitivity of the pen and the included software, which is considered beneficial for beginners. However, some users experienced issues with the pen itself, driver installation, and compatibility with certain systems. A few also noted occasional lag, and the lack of a wireless option.

I've had several of these tablets by Wacom, ranging from great to a pain to use. I am an illustrator and I use these to earn my living so ease of use and functionality is paramount. The smaller Bamboo tablet I was using before was horrible and very laggy, and Wacom was not able to help. The pen broke which pushed me to get a new tablet and I'm happy to say this one has none of the issues the previous one had. I am pleased.

I've only just decided to move away from scanning ink-and-paper drawings and toward digi-drawing; I was afraid I couldn't afford any "good" technology. I knew I couldn't afford any of the fancy tablets with displays on which you can draw directly and my research for alternatives brought me to products like this one. The reviews were good but I would have liked to try one out before I spent money on one. Thankfully, this simple little gadget is BRILLIANT. There are a lot of interface customization settings that were a little overwhelming at first but very simple once I started playing around with them. I use the tablet with GIMP software and it's LOADS better than drawing/editing with a mouse the way I had before. The stylus is amazingly well-tuned for detecting whether the tip is hovering near the tablet (moves the cursor without "clicking") or touching the tablet (click-and-hold), has buttons along the side for other clicking functions, and is uses no electricity (no cords or batteries). Also, the software and documentation that you download from the Wacom site is simple, plainly explanatory, and useful. I am ultimately happy with this purchase -- I don't often get to say that about tech purchases. :)

I attached this through a USB port to my Desk Top. I was able to do very accurate high quality digital art on it. I am able to use it as a pen to write letters with as well. It is kinda cool to use a screen recorder to teach with as you write or draw and speak instructions. The pen acted as a mouse. Does have an eraser function. For some strange reason the art produced with this came out better than using an iPad Pro pencil or a Microsoft Surface Pro pen and writing directly on the screen. I wish they had the larger size in stock but they didn't, but the med. size one fits better on a desk.

Great replacement if you had an older Intuos

I had a Wacom Intuos 3 for 11 years until it finally kicked the bucket, and decided to replace it with this Intuos Art. My previous Tablet was HUGE, one of the 9x11, and I was worried about adjusting to something smaller...honestly though, I love it. Smoothest translation of my arm movements and I loved that it has a detachable cord - the cord wearing out was what broke my old tablet. It has touch capabilities which I like, but the only reason I give this 4 rather than 5 stars is that sometimes the touch will disrupt the smooth line I make with the tablet pen if I pick it up too much and it uses where my hand is sitting on the tablet instead. I haven't tried using a glove with it yet but have been told it would probably help - I wear a wrist compression brace sometimes so it's hard to wear both, and my fingers still touch the tablet with the brace on. Anyway, I've had it for over a year now and I still love it just as much as when I first purchased.

I saw posts online saying I needed a huge pad for my 40" display that I was using but didn't have the money at the time for the size they said I needed. So I bought this one....and wow...its pressure sensitive, responsive, an a great size. I love using this thing. Great purchase. If I had it to do again, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Takes a moment to get used to, but you'll get up to speed within an hour. Love it. If you're just starting on electronic art and need a pad, get this. My bet is you won't upgrade for some time.

I had 2 older models of Intuos tablets that I loved but they did not work with my OS Yosemite so I needed to purchase a new tablet. I am completely satisfied with my purchase as usual it is a superior piece of technology. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would think that as expensive as these tablets are that Wacom would come up with drivers that could be updated for new OS. I resent having to buy a new one when I upgrade my computer or OS. Otherwise I love the product. Always have.

I purchased the Wacom Medium Intuos tablet as a replacement for my old Wacom Bamboo tablet. I am very pleased with the Intuos. There is no lag when using Sketchbook, and being able to personalize the buttons is a nice touch. It's also very precise with no jittery result (something I sometimes had with my 10 year old Bamboo). For anyone interested in how it feels, the closest description is like marker on paper.

This tablet works like a charm and I love using it. The driver software makes it very flexible and I was able to set it up exactly how I wanted. The reason for only 4 stars is that one of the rubber 'feet' on the bottom of the pad has already come off. However, I stuck it back on and it has stayed for the last couple of weeks,

Before using this tablet, I was using a smaller Wacom Intous tablet. It was often laborious and challenging to get smooth lines on any drawing program I utilized. I bought this tablet because my smaller Wacom tablet was getting old. I was shocked by how much better this tablet was in terms of accuracy and comfort. My advice to any artist - professional and hobbyist alike,- is to make the upgrade from small to large or, for beginners, start out with a medium Intous tablet. It is MUCH less challenging to get smooth lines/strokes with a larger tablet!

The Intuos art is great for both digital art and photo editing. And, you can use the pressure sensitive pen in place of your computer mouse.
