Definitely better than the regular Blu ray quality. Really a classic reimagining of the classic. A good change for Tom cruise whose always involved in high octane action movies. Steelbook is a plus

I already enjoyed this remake of the original movie but it had some grainy filming scenes, particularly when they’re driving fast on the highway. This 4K UHD remastering has cleared that up nicely!

It’s been a while since I saw this when I saw it was coming to steelbook I had to get the Tom cruise action alien film what a movie it was back and then and still never gets old

Review is for Blu-ray which was better than dvd version. Decent acting by Tom Cruise as a divorced dad making amends with his 2 children battling machines from another world.

Really happy with this purchase. Steelbook was in good condition. Movie looks and sounds great. I like the design. Would recommend to anyone interested in buying this.

I don't know how many times did I watched this movie but I still enjoy everytime I do. Now, it's the fire rime watching this in 4K and the picture quality is great! Sound quality is also good.

Definitely a must have if you like the film. Takes advantage of the enhanced color spectrum you see with most 4K upgrades but it felt like watching it for the first time!

Very good remake of this classic film and the special effects were pretty awesome as well. Loved the artwork of the steelcase version and makes a great collectable item.

Excellent quality picture & sound on the DVD itself, as were the other two 4K UHD DVDs that I purchased that day. Purchase in-store was quick & easy, with no checkout line at all.

Can’t pass up on this Best But exclusive steelbook at a great price. One of my favorite Spielberg film.

This is a what if the world is taken over by aliens. This is exactly what itll be like . Great movie

Been meaning to snatch this movie up for a while but never got around to it. When I saw the new steelbook packaging, I was glad I waited. If you have a nice sound system, you owe it to yourself to give the old emergence scene a whirl.

One pf my favorites. Appreciated the layout and disc placement for this steelbook. Stuggle when you have to force bluray or dvd disc out when stacked on multi disk.

This movie doesnt stop. Its a post 9/11 movie within the realm of sci-fi, but immerses the viewer in an absolutely visceral experience.

This is one of my favorite movies, and the 4K Blu-ray was a BIG treat. The quality of the 4K Blu-ray is outstanding. You won't be disappointed in this "War of the Worlds" remaster!

The original 1953 version gave me nightmares as a child and this came VERY close to topping it!

Gorgeous steelbook . Good movie and believe the last time Cruise and Spielberg worked together. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos make this a very nice improvement over its Regular Blu Ray.

War of the World is a remake of a 1952 version with Gene Barry and Barry did a cameo in this version. The remake wasn't bad, but the original version is better.

I already own a copy of War of the Worlds on 4K, but, could not resist this beautifully illustrated and far more durable 4K UHD STEELBOOK copy thanks to Best Buy.

Classic sci-fi movie that I had to put in my collection the acting was great special effects was very good especially in 4K must have for any movie collector.
