The 4K transfer on this is just like I remember it in the theater! The audio quality is also top notch without any hiccups! It even sounds good at low volume! And of course it’s on of my personal favorite Spielberg films.

Fantastic film that only looks better in 4K. Always happy with the SteelBook but of course I had to pick this up in person bc Best Buy’s shipping is horrid. Didn’t want it bent or with spine slashes.

I don't care what anyone says....Tom Cruise always delivers. Paired with Spielberg is a win-win. The 4K presentation is crisp and sounds excellent. A nice addition to anyone's collection.

War of the Worlds is an exception for Tom Cruise in which he is the hero. Here, his character is unlikeable, but feels authentic. The disc is flawless and the bass feedback you get from the tripods is welcoming.

This is a good remake- however very disappointed with the 4K up converted picture on this disc. Audio as well. The blu-ray looks better. Do not buy the 4K version -unless you simply do not have the movie.

A classic sci-fi movie directed by Steven Spielberg with Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning on it is amazing. The special effects in 4K format is a delight to watch. A must-have movie in your library.

I've always loved this movie. So when I was able to buy it in 4k. I was so excited to be able to watch it on my awesome 4k tv. And it was amazing. Thanks one again for an awesome item.

Really nice 4k transfer of an older movie. It's a dark movie to begin with but the sound and HDR moments really make this a worthy upgrade.

Picture looks great for its time, the blu ray was very grainy but this looks a bit sharper. The only complaint i have with this release is the sound in the "bass" department, it doesn't sound or hit nearly as good as the BluRay

This is the way the film was meant to be seen. This 4k remaster brings out the color and details that were muted in the original release and makes this version of the film a must have for fans.

One of my favorite adaptations of this story. The cgi is a bit dated with the 4k resolution but thats bound to happen with older cg.

If you don’t own the steelbook of War of the Worlds, I recommend you pick it up. Great film; it’s a bit grainy..ok, a lot grainy in the blu ray transfer but I guess it adds to it. Great movie! It’s a good time

This is a great remake of H. G. Wells classic writing, War of the Worlds. Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning, did an excellent job in this movie. This is an excellent movie in Blu-Ray. The SteelBook is nice as well. I wished I had it in 4K!

This is an excellent action sci-fi movie with superb digital effects. The pictyre and audio are outstanding. I would highly recommend this to anyone to add to your movie library.

Great movie to watch in Atmos. Transfer to 4k was ok. Main reason I bought this was for the Atmos effects. Watching older movies with Atmos surround is like watching an entirely new movie!

Great price and a pretty nice looking steelbook. I like this movie well enough but I mostly got it just to go with my other Spielberg steelbooks. It arrived in great condition.

A big improvement over the blu ray in picture quality and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. Definitely worth the upgrade, plus I got it on sale another plus.

Paramount out did themselves with this presentation. This movie hasn’t looked this good since released in the theaters. Both the video and audio are top notched. A MUST OWN and highly recommended.
