    Warriors Orochi has always had some fun points. It combines both Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, so you get to enjoy the rosters of both series at once. The gameplay is what you'd expect if you'd played the other games. However, if you asked me to recite the plot and how it differs from the previous games, I could not tell you. I just didn't feel it was that memorable.

    Overall, it was a good game. I had no issues with it. Musou games are never that deep, and this is no exception. They tried to add a story, but really it's just beat up everything in sight and watch your killcount go up. It's cathartic and entertaining.

    The game comes at a good time for musou fans after the disaster that was dynasty warriors 9. It isn't as good as warriors orochi 3, but the fun of taking on giant mobs of enemies is back. There is a camp upgrade system that gives your characters passive buffs and the weapon fusion system is simpler but still works. Overall, worth picking up for fans of the series.

    I've been playing Dynasty Warriors since the early 2000's the formula for Warriors is the same. It's a great game for just mindless hacking and slashing with a small dose of strategy. Definitely enjoying this game.

    Consider the disaster I experience from Dynasty Warriors 9, even though Warriors Orochi 4 is not as good as Warriors Orochi 3, at least I can love the series again. I hope KOEI would learn the lessons this time and have some better product in the future...
