This Wasserstein floodlight charging mount for Google Nest Cameras works as advertised in that it provides a lot of light at night when motion is detected. The problem comes with setting it up. If you have no electrical experience be prepared to hire an electrician to wire this thing up. Build quality is above average and it feels like it's built to last. It's an outdoor camera mount so I assume it will stand up to the weather. Because of its shape and size you may be limited to where you wish to mount this on your home. My original plan didn't pan out due to not having enough space to mount it and the camera. My third choice did work so now it's covering the side of my house that previously had no coverage. My original plan for this had it covering the driveway where I park my car but there was no way to make that work due to size constraints. Once you have it wired up with electrical you're good to go. The built in motion sensor seems a bit redundant but I guess it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Easy to setup. Helps with quality of night recordings immensely. I’d also add that this accessory helps with deterring people from entering the yard more so than the stand alone camera because it helps draw attention to the fact that there is a camera there!

Works great. Spotlight covers a great deal of our front yard and drive way. Motion sensor and easy to use / install. Helps us sleep at night knowing we have the extra sense of security outside. No break ins since!

This device does exactly what it says and does it well. The floodlights provide exceptional coverage for their size, and the brightness is really good without being overwhelming. The Nest cam fits perfectly in the holder, and the charger keeps it going without ever having to worry about it not being ready when you need it. The holder allows you to adjust the camera position as needed. NOTE: this system has to be hard-wired and does not include the Nest cam. You will need to replace an existing spotlight/floodlight or have wiring installed where you want it. The only improvement I would suggest is it would be nice if it had solar battery power to run off of so you could mount it wherever you want.

Not the most difficult thing to install just not in my wheel house. However since having it installed the mount holds the cam steady and the added light with a continuous power source is everything. Got to get one.
