Excellent game. Loses some points for driving (sucks) and clichéd main character. Unique game and an excellent experience!

This game lives up the hype. From the very beginning you start to explore the full scope of tools available to you, with opportunities to improve over the course of the game.
The graphics are very nice, bright and vibrant color, identifiable characterics of vehicles and characters. The interaction with the environment (while on foot or in a vehicle) is seemless.
You also have a good selection of weapon choices, with several of my personal favorites from sniper rifles to assault rifles and shotguns.
Only 10-15% into the storyline, but it keeps you interested. With all of the side missions available, this game is a good buy. Ubisoft did an exceptional job on this one and is plays well on the ps4.

This game is similar to GTA with hacking involved. It has a thrilling story and I was pleased with the gameplay.

Lots of disgust had been pushed towards Watch Dogs (for good reason, since Ubi were sort of being snakes about information and a true final vision of the game).
I bought the game "just because" and wanted to give it a shot. Worse comes to worse I trade it in, right? Now I won't part with it. The online can be fun, the DLC is worth it, and the main story - while initially slow as a snail - picks up and whirls you into the air where you don't want to come down.
Must buy!

It feels like GTA from the opposite side. You're given a motive for your character early, but it's loose at best. The driving controls feel a bit off, not quite as precise as they should be if you're used to something along the lines of GTA. Admittedly, I'm not very far in but the 'hacking' was something I looked forward to, and it just doesn't deliver what I though it would. This isn't a bad game, but you're not going to find the next big sandbox series here.

I was never much of an open world gamer, hated anything gta; but that changed with Assassins Creed 4. I took another stab at them with this game and glad I did. Its not as confusing as I thought it would be in terms of what do I have to do next or where do I go from here but I never got that feeling. I do find myself wandering aimlessly but thats more because I don't always feel the need to jump into another mission. Overall great game and hope this turns into a franchise

This game may leave people a bit disappointed considering the hype that surrounded this but I would definitely recommend that you at least give this a try. Its by no means as good as a GTA 5 (nothing really would be) but it has its own charm and the hacking features are an interesting touch to the now saturated market of "open world" games. The driving mechanics are poor though and the side missions can get very repetitive and tedious. I give it the rating of 7 thumbs up.

This is one of the coolest games I played in a while. You play at your own pace. You can get back to missions on the main story line pretty much anytime you want. There are plenty of side missions and stuff you can do. The only rough spot I can see is the driving part is not very consistent with the rest of the game. Which makes some areas a little more difficult because driving is needed somewhat for the main story. Overall I enjoy the game and have not yet completely explored everything. I am hoping their will be some surprises that come up. There is a lot of repetition when you hack people, but that is somewhat expected, so it does not bother me. Overall a 9 out of 10

This game feels like a mix of GTA, Red Dead Redemption and Assassins Creed. It has stealth, shoot outs, car races, police chases, and of course "hacking". "Hacking" is mostly just solving a generic puzzle, but the extra tools you get to evade capture, death, and failure is what makes this game stand out. You can't just escape from a shootout or a car chase just by ducking behind a building. If you liked any sandbox game, you'll probably find enjoyment in this one.

A lot of people are comparing this to GTA, and honestly if you do that your expectations will not be met. In my opinion, this game is vastly different from GTA; It is more serious than satire, has better player and gunplay controls (not driving), and overall is offering a different experience than GTA. With that being said, I am only half-way throught he story because I continue spending countless hours on the side activities. This game is very vast in what it offers, and I now believe the claim that it would take 100 hours to beat everything in this game. If you come in with an open mind and expecting a different experience than GTA, then you are in for a treat.

If you start this game hoping it will be like GTAV with hacking, you'll be disappointed. Judge Watch Dogs on its own merits. The hacking concept is relatively new and unique.
For the first game in a series, it's a solid start. The story line is pretty interesting but you need to play the side missions to get the full effect.
I've played the game twice through and enjoyed it both times. I've played much of the online hacking/tailing and they're pretty fun too.

At first glance, the game’s setting appears as shallow as its inhabitants. Chicago is a lively mixture of skyscrapers, slums, and the token ‘countryside’ bit--sadly inferior next to the wonderfully colourful, sun-drenched San Andreas of GTA 5. Look closer, though, and the city’s true beauty becomes apparent. It’s densely packed with details, hidey-holes, and some utterly dark secrets--many of which you only start to discover once you start poking around side-missions and optional quests. Perhaps my favourite moment in the whole game happens when I cause a mighty car crash, and see a couple of ghoulish pedestrians taking videos of the carnage on their phones.

The game kind of throws you into the middle of the story a bit awkwardly, but not too bad. It leaks in different aspects as you continue on. Haven't finished it yet, but the side missions, hacking and general look and feel are all great. The controls and look/feel of the car chases are a bit lacking. I thought GTA V did these much better. Overall, it's a fun game that hopefully has more continued character development and a satisfying story to round it out.

I've been having a blast playing the side missions and multiplayer aspects of the game, but I am finding it very hard to make it through the story missions. I very much dislike the main character. It would have been so much more interesting to play as the main character's sister.
But with that said, I'm having lots of fun seeing how the developers recreated Chicago, and the Online Hacking is one of my favorite multiplayer modes over the past few years.
