Hacking is fun and awesome. You feel like this all mighty hacker when you're roaming around the city.
This is one of the few sandbox games where I finished all the side missions and collectibles. The puzzles are challenging enough to keep you going but not tedious. The reward for each collectibles are audio logs which give you more insight to the setting. After you collect a set of certain collectibles, you get a mission for it which gives you closure. So it's not just pointless pigeon shooting.
The online hacking or tailing are designed so that they're like random fixer attack event. They don't affect your SP skills, story, or progress in anyway. You can enjoy it or ignore it. Personally, I like the occasional invasions, which is fun and intense.
If you like sandbox games, you shouldn't miss this game.

This was not a hit in my home at all
We tried to return it the same evening only to have Best Buy tell us NO.
I don't think it's fair that you force someone to keep a game that they don't like and it's been less than a few hours from purchase time. At least gave them the option to get another game.
I only have a rating of 1 because it won't let you give them zero stars

The game is a blast no doubt, but the controls are difficult and the premise is a tad bit confusing, but it is still fun to drive, shoot, and control everything yourself. Enough said.

Watch Dogs has been an anticipated game since 2012 but simce then most people wonder did the hype for the game died or did ubisofts delayed made gamers not want to play watch dogs. I on the other hand love it Stealth action makes the game more intense for me rather than guns blazing. Both Main & Side missions keep you going till you decide its time to take a break or go at it with online. Watch Dogs has so much potential if you havent purchased your copy yet now is the time. My final rating 8 Out Of 10

What I love most about Watch Dogs is the innovative idea of using hacking defensively and offensively in tough situations. It was a breath of fresh air, not to have to rely on a gun to get me out of a enemy attack/ambush. (They do give you a nice collection of firearms, but it's great that I can play mission after mission without ever pulling one out) It also helped to make stealth, a game mechanic I had grown tired of, new and fun. Where the game comes up short is in it's driving, which is a significant part of the game. The controls are stiff, which makes chase scenes that should be exhilarating into a very frustrating experience. The story isn't anything memorable, but I doubt many people are playing the game for the story.
In the end, despite my complaints, this game is as fun as I'd hoped it would be, and I would definitely recommend it.

It's a game where using cellphones is more important than actual combat. Very creative gameplay.
