Unearth continues to deliver another great album. They kind of strayed off from the melodic tone from their last album and focused on a faster, heavier tone. Definitely worth listening to if you are an Unearth fan or a fan of metalcore.

Another quality release from one of the better American metal bands. This release is "angrier" than the previous two with a more aggressive sound and higher tempo. The songs are also not as "hooky" as on previous releases. Overall, the most "brutal" release from these boys to date.

As a long-time fan of Unearth, I would say this is certainly the heaviest album they've put out next to "Stings of Conscience". There is little-to-melody on this album, which I feel is in response to the critic reviews on their last album "Darkness In the Light", which some felt was too melodic and had too many clean vocals by guitarist Ken Susi. I didn't mind DitL at all, especially since Susi's vocals have made appearances on their past albums. "The March" is still probably my favorit album, which I thought has the best mix of solos, vocals, and heavy guitars/drums. Altogether "Watchers of the Rule" is still a great album for any Unearth fan and expect it to be a 180 from DitL.

Love these guys but this album seemed too busy to me. Drums were non stop fills and the guitar work wasn't their best.

Finding Metal music is difficult because not many places carry them. So its nice that BB carried it.

This album is great and it shreds from start to finish and should not be missed.
