The deck was stacked against this show being any good - it's a sequel to the comic, not the movie which will likely be confusing to non-comic fans who are familiar with the film. Somehow, they managed to pull it off. This is positively brilliant and uncannily relevant to current events.

Great little gem of a mini-series in a great package. Lots of extras and the picture and sound is amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone, though you will get more if you are familiar with the GN. The show does a good job of filling in the holes when necessary though.

Awesome. I grew up collecting and reading comics and nowadays, I can watch the comics that I grew up with. This series is pretty spectacular. Fantastic story and special effects. I highly recommend watching this series if you are a comic book fan or just a sci-fi fan.

Excellent show! I had misgivings about a continuation of the 2009 movie. I’m so glad I gave it a try because it’s probably one of the best things I’ve seen in ages. Tight storytelling, very well-drawn characters, and a great story that was great from beginning to end.

Engrossing and takes unexpected twists and turns to arrive at a very satisfying resolution. Wasn't sure what to make of this when the project was announced, but was very glad to have watched it once I made the time to watch it.

An important show that shined light on a forgotten moment in Alabama history that will turn stomachs. The show is really about how the events in our lives shape us, good or bad. Surprisedly well done and I honestly didn't think it would live up to the hype. The show took themes that were a modern setting for Alan Moore's world. I know he would hate those words.

This was a weird, great show that ended unfortunately. I love the characters and the story was connected all the way through, even though it would throw you a curve ball here and there. It was way worth buying, and you should check it out.

One of the best DC shows! The acting is not notch, esp Sister Night! It made a complicated comic book story...easy to follow, and it has great tie ins to the Watchmen movie! All questions wrapped up nicely in one season.

Not at all what I was expecting. Expanding on the alternate universe from the graphic novel allows this new story to be incredibly relevant to what is happening in our country now.

Can’t wait to watch this I hate it’s not the steelbook version since it’s sold out. But 13.99 for a tv show that’s new and recently came out plus I loved the 2009 film. I herd nothing but great things about this show.

I bought this as a blind buy. Only saw there trailer for it but I took a chance on it because it was a HBO show and it was DC comics. I was hooked after the first episode. Great cast and story.

Great show i love how they incorparate alot of the graphic novel if your walking into this thinking its a sequel to the movie its not its a sequel to the comic and they did a great job just like the movie def check this out

Being a fan of the Watchmen graphic novel and being mostly disappointed in the Watchmen film, I had NO idea what the Watchmen TV series was going to be like. This HBO series went a lot of different directions that I never anticipated. And given the new climate of nationwide protests, this Watchemen tale is even more relevant than it was when it aired.

My cat really enjoyed this series. She was reluctant at first, as the original comic is one of her all time faves, but the show won her over by the end of the first episode. She's hopeful for a second season.

One of the better T.V. series in the last few years. Lindeloff does a great job of combining aspects of the Graphic Novel and creating a whole new group of characters. Definitely recommend watching!

I don’t have HBO MAX, so I rarely get to see their shows and programs. The deal on Watchmen was too good to pass up! The show is great and I’m glad I was able to get a Black Friday deal before Black Friday!

Best limited series from HBO in a long time. So beautiful, so heartfelt, and so of the moment. This is a transcendent piece of art with performances that will make you laugh and cry and feel pain and joy.

Amazing series, a must watch. I was a huge fan of the original graphic novel but not a fan of the show runner. But they made a creative story that is in the world of the Watchmen. I enjoyed it thoroughly

An incredible television series that I couldn't wait to purchase a physical copy of. Blu-ray picture quality is higher than the initial HBO stream for sure. And Black Friday pricing made this a must-buy!
