Ive read Amazon ratings on knockoff brands for these Samsung water filter refills and the reviews are too mixed to risk trying to save an extra buck. The reviews range from funny taste, to leaks, to having to retrofit the things. Even though it seems a little expensive, I’ll pass on the nightmares and stick to the required OEM replacement. The water tastes great and it’s a simple pull out the old and push in the new. I like that simplicity.

I tried to buy an off brand water filter and it was ok, but this Samsung filter for Samsung refrigerators is the best. The water tastes great.

Great product. Make sure once installed, you run at least a gallon of water through the system. It will sometimes take a day or so after install to stop the stuttering. It's normal. Weve been using it for a few years now
