great ssd for PS5

Bought heatsink (required) separately - much cheaper than buying the version with a heatsink. Install is easy, takes only around 10 minutes, including attaching the heatsink. (If you are unsure how to install a heatsink check YT. But watch the official Sony vid for installing the drive as many YTers skip steps/details). On formatting, read spead was just above 6600mb/s, very nice to see. Gets a thumbs up from me.

This didn't come with a heat sink so I brought two types of heatsink. A cheapo one that only got thermal pad on one side, and another with double sided pads. The single pad heatsink I got around 6300 read. The double sided one I got 6545 read. Other than that, I got this because Mark Cerny also got this drive for his ps5. Only negative is this thing is expensive at 150.

I bought an off brand heat sync so it can be used in conjunction with my ps5 and it works very well. Right offf the bat read and write apeeds were 6500 mbs !!!!!! Games load isnanley fast and only thing is these memory modules are pricey but its worth it and better than those insanely expensive proprietary xbox cards. Sony all the way !!!
