i bought this wd ssd for my laptop and it is the best ssd i ever bought it is faster and more reliable i have never had a problem with wd ssd or hard drives they are the best.

The primary hard drive on my desktop died and I needed to replace it. I kept hearing how amazing solid state drives were, but previously the price of my preferred 1 TB primary hard drive storage space prevented me from giving into the hype. I finally decided to try it out and return it if I wasn't 100% impressed. I installed it and ran my factory restore from a usb drive onto my brand spankin new solid state drive and it is freakin awesome!!! Boot up time is ridiculously fast! Searching, scanning, installing, and anything that reads/writes to the hard drive are done in a fraction of the time. There's other good stuff, but stop reading and just buy it! You can thank me later.

Makes a big difference with booting times. I like the speed

Used to replace a 1 tb. Spinner in my Lenovo Y500. Install was simple (doesn't include a tray). Ran my recovery disk and it booted right up. Downloaded WD dashboard and ran trim function no problem. Machine now boots to start screen in a couple seconds. Aps. Load almost instantly. Worth every penny if you need a big, fast, cost effective SSD upgrade solution.

Nice to see WD finally getting into the SSD Game. These are re-branded Sandisk SSDs (look it up) but they are just as reliable and backed by WD. Super fast, easy to setup, and will make your computer fly. It just needs some better bundled software.

Its used in my mini-itx gaming computer so space is important. it is bolted on a panel with another WD 500GB ssd and its plenty fast for startup and running my games. -i would recommend this to anyone

My old HDD was starting to go out. I purchased this Solid State HDD as a replacement. I was amazed at how quiet and fast this Solid State HDD was - major improvement over my old standard HDD.

After installing and cloning my existing drive to this SSD I rebooted to this new drive and it is like night and day. I can't believe I waiting this long to purchase. Think of it like the old dial up internet vs dsl of today. The speed at which it boots and the speed at loading of programs and data is amazing. Upgrade to a SSD drive immediately. It also runs so much cooler now that I don't have a normal hard drive. Can't comment on the quality of this particular drive yet but so far I am 110% satisfied.

I could not find a new computer with a 1TB SSD, so I purchased this drive. When my new computer arrived I started it up, created a recovery media, put this 1TB SSD in the machine, formatted it, took out the original drive and made this drive the primary. Performed a full restore and I have been using ever since. So far, no problems and the family loves the speed and capacity.

This solid state is fast and with 1TB worth of storage it can handle being the primary drive for most anyone. Only draw back is the lack of cloning software which means ether starting over from scratch or downloading one off the net. Luckly there are some decent open-source software available if needs be.

The drive gave my sons laptop the speed that I wanted for him to use for his video games and social networking

Used my SATA cable from my DVD to connect new drive. Used Paragon to do complete disk copy. Disconnected old C: drive and connected new drive to that cable. Rebooted and everything came up as expected. I did a lot of research on how to copy disks. That was the key to me. It is really nice to not have to worry about running out of space when installing new programs. I have used WD drives for almost all my upgrades and never had a defect or failure.

The Blue version of the Western Digital solid state HDD was a good value with expected performance

I wanted to replace my desktop internal HD, and this seems to be a good option because of size and price. The desktop runs faster after replacing the disk HD with this SSD.

Replaced an old router and this one extended the range. Connected all wireless equipment with no trouble.

Using it as mu sexo dary drive (run VM's and performs extremely good!!!
