    Best Buy Geek Squad put this 6 TB hard drive into my brand new computer. I love the fact that I have so much storage space now. Seems to work as it should so far. Been pleased with both the Geek Squad's work and the 6 TB hard drive.

    so far so good ... installed this into an enclosure I had to make it an external drive. Transferred around 3TBs onto it and havnt had a single issue.

    I attempted to inialize the hard drive for extra storage but it will not complete the task without errors. I tried this on 3 different computers with the same results. Returned the item and wont buy a WD again.

    I finally opened it up and upgraded. DOA. The motherboard recognizes disk but doesn't display drive information. Windows I/O error. I tried on 2 different computer. DOA.

    Ordered mine on Black Friday for really cheap but sadly it came in broken. If you are thinking of getting one just dont get it delivered. This drives are very sensitive and can get damaged very easily durong cheaping.

    Was hoping to upgrade my system while this was half off but took over a week to arrive and was DOA and ended up with the 4tb instead

    I got 6 of these and 2 are bad. I can't trust these drives. Which I got something more reliable.

    I have always had Good Luck with the Western Digital Drives. So far I have not had any trouble with them except for having to format them using "diskpart" so that I can use the full 6TB of space. I actually have 4 of these. I have them installed in pairs in my main computers for backing up Data.

    This hard drive has only 5.45T capacity after I format it in Windows 10. The label shows it's a 6T hard drive, so I lost about 0.5T of hard drive capacity. I will return this hard drive to bestbuy.
