Works great in my college son's laptop. He was running out of space and we added this second drive in his laptop specifically for storage. Now he has lots of room. Kudos to Geek Squad for installing it for us since the mounting screw in the Asus laptop was sealed with Loc-Tite under the motherboard. They did a great job of removing the screw and not stripping it out.

This drive was offered on sale so I quickly took advantage. I had just bought a new Lenovo L13 Thinkpad from Best Buy and it had a pretty generic Samsung 256 GB SSD. The installation was simple, the computer's owners manual describes how to do it. Made a world of difference in the responsiveness of the computer. I feel that this is a great choice for an upgrade.

Worked immediately. Speed: don't need any faster for ordinary business/personal use (but you can pay more and get faster). Best of all, WD now provides free Acronis, which is the simplest way to clone old disc to this one. They should provide a screw to secure to the motherboard, however.

I have a 2019 Lenovo laptop I bought with a 1TB hard drive and 12 GB of ram. It’s solid laptop but I felt that I was not using its full potential!! I installed this SSD, cloned the OS, and use the 1TB as a secondary storage. Best upgrade ever!!

It is an amazing SSD. I replaced the existing HHD in my son's laptop and its performance is significant improved. My son told me now his PC game will not be interrupted and run very smoothly. Thanks for this SSD to make my son happy.

This is the second WD - Blue SN550 NVMe 500GB drive I have bought and have not had any problems. I am actually using this one as an external drive, by placing it in a NVMe case. The speed is excellent. Recommend this drive!!!

This is a great ssd!! I got it on Black Friday sale. I installed it and my computer has never worked faster and smoother. It warms up in 15 seconds from startup.

NVMe drive works perfectly. There was no hassle with fitting it into my m.2 slot on the motherboard. Read and write speeds are fast enough that you will never even be thinking about it.

Very fast nvme! Perfect for laptops with nvme slots. Really makes a difference on speed and power consuption is better than sata ssd. Very fast! I love it!

super quick boot time! much faster than my samsung sata ssd. would highly recommend upgrading from an ssd or normal hard drive if you're still using those to one of these nvme drives!

I got 3 gaming rigs all with SSDs. This is my first nvme m2 , while it's not a huge difference for the day to day used and gaming compared to my SSDs. This is still 3x faster than my Samsung SSD.

After using a hard drive in my laptop, it was unbearable to use anymore. After installing this M.2 drive, my laptop was given new life. Highly recommend this over any hard drive or ssd.

Just got this 500gb to upgrade from a 128gb ssd that came with the laptop hp14-dk1003dx. Works perfectly. Just installed windows on it from a usb drive. Easy to do in less than 30 mins.

I was surprised when in fact the drive tested out to be at least 2 1/2 times faster than the previous WD SSD.

Worked fast for the short time I had it. Very smooth win 10 boot. Unfortunately the PC I purchased it for was defective.

Excellent value when on sale. I am using two of these as a cache in a NAS and so far have not seen any issues.

For the price I paid, $55, I got an excellent hard drive from a reputable manufacturer. Speeds are very close to the theorical ones.
